It was cold in room, awful for a massage. They are located on a busy street and don’t do a good job of noise reduction either. The two girls in the office barely spoke English, making it impossible to tell her I have fibro and don’t like to be rubbed to hard. She hurt me multiple times, didn’t use lotion at first until I asked, was on top of me straddling with her feet on the table to rub my back which felt so awkward….. And the location parking is a nightmare, just all in all not for me. Never again. I was not relaxed and rejuvenated after and wasted almost $100 to be rubbed down in a cold room by someone who was clearly not a professional.

First off, I have had MANY massages over the years. That is my one treat to myself every few months. I even had a Swedish massage from a Swede. I’m new to the area and have tried one other massage spa (which was good, don’t get me wrong!) but decided to give Summer Spa a try since their reviews are really good. They. Deserve. Every. Dam. Star. First off, I appreciate that they took our temp upon entry because I’m not messing around with covid. That also allowed us to get massaged without having to wear masks! And the massage was the best we have ever had (we got a couples massage). They were thorough and it honestly felt like two hours instead of one. I’m not kidding, they are wonderful, kind, and talented. We’ve already agreed that we’re making this a regular thing.

I asked for my back to be massaged, and woman working seemed like a psychic knowing what part of my back needed extra focus without me even having to say.

Couples massage was good. Although they dont charge you as its posted inside the bldg. They up charge for services u didnt ask for and demand a tip there after. I had a tech that after telling her avoid 1 finger she left me to service someone else. Then the tech working on my husband had to hurry his to finish mine. . .

Also they were super nice and gave me a bottled water when I was done!The only thing I wish they would have understood more was that I have severe scoliosis so one side of my body is totally different than the other, but I can’t complain to much because they aren’t physical therapists. Critical: Professionalism, QualityBe careful which masseuse you get here. One of the women is constantly pausing the massage to talk loudly on the phone, in the room. Then would walk out multiple times to help other customers. It’s incredibly disruptive and rude. It seems like they should have someone answering the phone and helping incoming clients so the massage therapists can concentrate on the client they have. She also applied way to much pressure, and wouldn’t respond to my requests to be more gentle. The entire time I was just waiting for it to end. The other lady is always fantastic, however. Be careful which masseuse you get here. One of the women is constantly pausing the massage to talk loudly on the phone, in the room. Then would walk out multiple times to help other customers. It’s incredibly disruptive and rude. It seems like they should have someone answering the phone and helping incoming clients so the massage therapists can concentrate on the client they have.
