This salon has great quality haircuts. However this Wednesday I had scheduled by phone call an appointment at 10:15. Mind you the store opened at 10:00. We waited for half an hour in the humid Louisiana heat before we finally decided “screw it we’re done with this.”

Update 10/21/13 I went here today and this girl named Niko cut my hair. It was an extreme cut because my hair is long, super thick and curly.. but Niko rocked it!!! Never returning. First experience, went in with white platinum hair & needed roots done. Lydie turned my hair into a yellow/orange colored blonde. Manager had to fix it. Decided to go back & get my hair done by manager this last time, NEVER AGAIN. my hair is now damaged, fried, stiff, & took 3 sessions and over 15 hours before I finally decided to leave with damaged hair & go elsewhere to get it fixed. First appt I went in for toner and root touch up. Spent $100 to leave with dark GREY hair. After 6+ hours told I would have to come back next day. Went back next day…. roots were left orange/ hair was still a dark silver. I showed her pictures of my before. It took 3 separate days to get back to my original color. Chemicals onto of chemicals and obvious uncertainty on what to use or do!!! & now my hair is breaking, falling out, & stiff/damaged as can be. I deserve a refund being im stuck like this. After the first appt I should’ve been told she didn’t know what she needed to do. Each appt I had to beg for it to be fixed because I didn’t want to go in public with how she left it. Now I’m so insecure about my hair it’s ashamed.

Today I went to this establishment knowing what I had in mind for a change in look, I went with and opened mind as well. When, I got there i had changed my mind and told the lady that was taking me in her seat exactly this I trust you I’m going to let you decide what look I will walk out of here today with!!! The lady’s name Was Shari, Very outgoing individual took care of a shampoo, cut, color, highlight, and wax on my eyebrows. I don’t know about everyone else, but I cant just trust anyone in my hair, for some reason I just went with it and it was the best decision I have ever made when it comes to a stylist, she will remain my beautician for the remainder of time!!! The owner Ms. Laura just a doll very friendly, cheerful, and polite individual. She also had two other ladies that came into work within the time that I was there there was a young woman with black and red hair never missed a beat and came in and acknowledge every one, just made you feel like you were right at home sorry I didn’t catch her name, but I will never forget her face. The other young lady ( do not know her name either) she had a short bob, black and blonde wig on, she was on the station on the side of Shari, this young lady was much different I did not catch her name maybe because she never looked up at anyone I told her Hello and asked her how was her day, this is the only time I saw her pick up her head and it was to look at me and smack her teeth and roll her eyes… Normally, I wouldn’t be so long winded when it comes to something like what I’m explaining now, but I work in Customer Service currently and have been doing so for over 17 years, I do not care how it is that i am feeling when I arrive to work, my attitude changes and I take care of the customer with a smile and I do it well, the whole point is to make the guest feel comfortable no matter what! In closing I would just like to say that saying Hello is for everyone, to me if you do not like your job maybe you should make a career change, and finally this one little incident would not stop me from going there are recommending everyone I know to go there, overall and wonderful experience and my beautician Shari just made me a client for life!!!!!! Ms. Laura you have a wonderful team of ladies behind you, and by the time I left your facility I felt like I had been knowing you and your staff all my life, and that means something to an individual like me Have a Wonderful Day and I will calling Shari faithfully to keep my hair up.
