Amber did my hair for my wedding and I think she is really talented. She used extensions that I brought with me and worked them in without any difficulty. She is a riot to be around and is a very interesting person to talk to. She runs kind of late, but she works so fast that the extra time is not needed. I think the pictures speak for themselves. My hair looked amazing and held up in place all night. Thank you Amber!

Amber did my hair for my wedding in July 2018. I hadn’t heard from her at the time she was supposed to meet me, so I called the salon and they had no idea where she was. I finally heard from her and she said she’d be about an hour late. She finally showed up more than 2.5 hours late, making us miss one of the locations we wanted to take pictures at for lack of time with the photographer. The photographer had to take pictures of me getting ready for 45 minutes instead. I asked for some volume and for some hair to be on my face for my side bun, but she ended up pulling it back severely instead, which really didn’t look good in my wedding photos. And because we were already so late as it was, there was no time to fix it. Terrible experience.

I’m not shearing experience with this hair place but with person who works there! Her name is Amber Langworthy. My husband and l decide to have wedding on Orcas Island, and l contacted Amber via FB. Her coworker or boss (I’m not sure ), told me that she charging 150$/hour and 50 for trial! When l rich to her she said it’s 200$/h and 75$ trial this year, l was thinking that is not very professional but what ever! She also told me lm her first customer for that summer (she leaves out of Island and coming just for season). So l booked her 9 months before my wedding, paid deposit what is including a trial hair appointment as well! I texted her few time before wedding and more often 10 days before I would be on Island! I come 4 days before, and of course texted her to set up trial appointment! She said that she is busy till two days before wedding, what was fine with me. I told her any day and any time is working for me just let me know. She send me message for appointment, then send other that she can day before my wedding, and then that day she send me that she is running of the Island for some supplies and told me 10PM night before my wedding! I told her that that is very late for me because l wanna take rest but I’ll be at her salon! I went at 10PM NIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING at her salon and nobody was there! I open my FB , and she send me couple hours before 10pm that she will not push her self to make it ferry and that we r gonna have trial SOMETIME ON THE LATE MORNING ON MY WEDDING DAY!!! I send her message that that’s very unprofessional, since l booked her 9 months ago and that l believe that she had more then enough time to get her supplies, but obviously I don’t have a choice so I’ll be there in the morning! She even didn’t answer me that night but next morning, on my wedding day and said that she can feel my anger and that she doesn’t wanna deal with my attitude, and that l should be thankful and appreciated ppl who helping me have my best day the best, no be rude and angry!! So she CANCELED ON ME ON MY WEDDING DAY!!! Now you tell me what kind of person do that!?! I have a lot of her messages, to prove everything, and even her friends from Island, after l showed them messages told me that she is the worst person ever! So if you don’t need to deal with Amber, better don’t do it! I don’t know how bed or good hairdresser she is but l can tell you that she is for sure one of the worst persons l ever “met”! Just feeling very sorry for her family and friends (if she has any), to have person like this in their lives!
