Critical: ProfessionalismI would first like to say my hair looks amazing. I will not take that away. Two stars were awarded for that reason because the rest of the experience was hurtful and a real stressor. I’m not one to leave reviews but upon entering, I wasn’t seen until about 40mins after my appointment. But she stated when we were having a conversation about my hair desires, that she doesn’t book her appointments to overlap (mind you I originally wanted AND BOOKED for 2 cuts and a full head of dye). I decided to go with shampoo and trims. Then it was time for our shampooing… if I had any suggestions it would be to NOT suggest that shampooing is supposed to be a time of “pampering” then scrub (verses massage or lather) people’s scalps. Here’s where I decided to write this review, it’s time for the cut. Again, I’m not taking away from the skill set of this place AT ALL! I love the cut and added suggestions to improve my hair (really all great tips I’ll try for results I need/want)… when we started to converse it was like she was telling me what to do with my child, judging me at some points of the conversation. She even got in my kids face to tell her why she shouldn’t have it as if she just told us how to live and that’s that! It took a lot to not completely disrespect her the way she was me. I literally came here to feel better about my appearance and she was judging me from just a glance of it. My daughter left crying ; 1. because she said the lady was being rough 2. She poked my kid twice in the face and 3. the biggest dissatisfaction of these experiences !!!! because she thought it was mean of the lady to get in her face and talk about her and us like that when we did it to make her feel better (again no ones opinion about this decision matters) I will never advise anyone who is going to the salon to relax and have a nice encounter in a welcoming environment… not my opinion of the ideal place to complete this errand !Service: HaircutI would first like to say my hair looks amazing. I discovered this salon months ago and I have been going ever since. Neema threads my eyebrows here, and I haven’t had a bad experience yet. The wait is never very long, and the ladies are friendly. The area is clean and sanitized in between clients, and she also suggests and sells face/skin care products here. I definitely reccomend.

I have been going to Studio 31 every two weeks for the past 6 years. The stylist has relaxed my hair, put highlights in and cut my hair many times. I have always been pleased with the service and my hair. She is very knowledgeable all aspects of hair, color, texture etc. If you want strong healthy hair, this is the place to go!

Studio 31 on tiny Town just kicked out one of my veterans with her service dog. Smokey is a medical alert service dog and goes everywhere with his veteran. He has been in court rooms, the VA hospital, three different states and she has never had an issue going into any establishment because Smokey is a well-behaved service animal. Smokey has assisted her at studio 31 at least five to seven times before. The owner today told her to get that dog out of her private establishment he is not welcomed there. The owner then told her to leave him in the car while she has her eyebrows done. When she refused the owner called the police to have the veteran removed. The police recommended the veteran file a civil suit and to have her charged. The veteran chose not to go through with that but we will be filing a doj complaint. this is unacceptable for any business to refuse service to a disabled person who needs medical assistance through a service dog. I just saw Smokey yesterday here are a few pictures of her and Smokey working see how well-behaved this true service dog is? We will not be putting up with us and we will be filing complaints feel free to leave them a bad review about their public business refusing service to a longtime customer who has brought her well-behaved service dog in there many times before.

i’ve been living in clarksville for 4 years and I’ve never had anybody thread my eyebrows correctly so I would just wait until I would travel back home (3 hours) to get them done. Recently I got my eyebrows threaded by the lady that works here and she’s honestly so good at it! She didn’t thin them out at all and this has been the longest they’ve lasted this long. Highly recommend

Devon is absolutely wonderful! Very polite, comfortable atmosphere. Did an excellent job cutting my husband’s hair to his expectations. Eyebrow Threading and waxing is also available with the cosmetologist.

If I could give it a negative I would. Awful if you want your hair done go somewhere else. I don’t know the lady’s name that I had but I had a bad feeling about her and I wish I would have listened to it and left. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and It was something I had done previously (lots of highlights) I had no color in my hair at all when I went in. She glanced at the picture for less than a second then walked off. I ended up with large chunky orange streaks in my hair and she called it good. Not only did she do such a horrible job but not I have to go to another salon and get it fixed. I also always considered myself to have a pretty tough head but she was yanking and puling on my hair so bad and while drying it was slapping the brush on my head that I wanted to cry. So don’t waste your time or money on this place and spend a little extra and go somewhere that will do it right the first time and actually care about the clients
