I will not be back to Star Nails again. I have been a loyal customer for years now. I made an appointment last week for Thursday afternoon at 4:45 pm. I drove 40 mins to get there only to be told they didn’t see me in the calendar. I politely explained when I booked and that I had driven far. I was told they could not accommodate me. I then said that was not good customer service and I would not be back. The receptionist said, “Ok, I’ll take you and cancel someone else.” I of course would not want to do that to someone. I quietly walked out. There were no efforts to accommodate me. I recommend the receptionist reads the book “Raving Fans.” They just lost one.

First time here. Heard great things but I’m a bit disappointed in the quality of nail polish application and cuticle removal. Don’t get me wrong, the service was great, the massages for both mani and pedi are bomb. But there’s nail polish on the side of my toes and they didn’t go all the way up on my index finger so there’s a gap between the cuticle and where the polish starts. They also didn’t really push the cuticle back on my fingers or toes. I came in with a hangnail and left with that same hangnail. I’ll only be coming back if I want the pedicure massage and mask. Pay no mind to my ring finger, it was like that when I got there.

Not sure what the rush was Steven. Flippin my hands around rushing, slamming my fingers in the dip powder etc. Asked me if I wanted a massage with hand signals ….uhhh no thanks, no way I can relax with you being all aggressive. I felt like just getting up and walking away in the middle of it because it was almost as if I was a nuisance. I don’t expect conversation but it was just the strangest experience getting my nails done. I checked under my car to see if I ran over his dog on my way in or something. Safe to say I didn’t.
