I came to Sringar after having had a terrible haircut experience at a salon in Norwood. I had very high hopes that Kiran will be able to fix my hair after reading several glowing reviews about her and I was not disappointed. She gave me a beautiful cut that looks great with or without styling. I cannot thank her enough. The ambience of the salon is also very bright, beautiful and calming. I am also grateful that Kiran recognized that I am one of those customers that prefers to have their salon time be quiet and did not engage me in conversation like so many other hair artists insist on doing. Overall, it’s safe to say Sringar will be my go to salon from now on.

I’ve been going to Kiran for many many years and she is the best, especially for wavy/curly hair like mine! I like her cuts so much that even though I’ve lived in NYC for years, I still return to Arlington to get my hair cut. (I have attempted to find a regular NYC stylist but nobody holds a candle to Kiran!) When Kiran cuts my hair, it always grows out really nicely (not in a triangle) and holds its shape really well. Mina is also really good at eyebrow threading – she never takes off too much. I really recommend Sringar!

When I would ask her the answer was always the same, Kiran did it! I live in Philadelphia, but I finally trekked up to Arlington to check out the salon. Turns out Kiran had seen my photo on my sister’s phone and already had thought about how she might do my hair. 😀 She had told my sister, “I could make her look 10 years younger”. Long story short, Kiran gave me the best color and cut I’ve had possibly since going to a salon in Paris many years ago. I get compliments all the time. I feel like a different person when I look in the mirror. On my second visit I had my brows threaded (and dyed). Real transformation.It is such a pleasant and soothing atmosphere. The staff is kind and low key. I also truly appreciate not being expected to keep up a mindless banter and have to answer a bunch of questions. (Not why I go to a hair salon 🙂 I can just sit in the chair and relax.The only problem is that, having been there once, I don’t want to go anywhere else! I actually drive from Philly every 3 months. I live in Philadelphia, but I finally trekked up to Arlington to check out the salon. I came here a few months ago to get my hair done for a party – just loosely curled, pretty straight forward. I left with a million tight curls all over my head, each one curled in a different direction. I went home and showered and styled it myself before the party, which was extremely stressful and I ended up being late. The stylist was nice, but that doesn’t make up for the bad job she did. Oh and at the end she told me it was going to be $80 after she quoted me at $60. Won’t be going back.
