I will praise them for customer service. Everyone was really nice. But, I know that word is the big pivotal moment. Don’t waste your money on pedicures here. The skill level and being thorough on full pedicure (cleaning nails of debris, shaping, callus removal and message length). I’d give a 2/5. The 2 ladies I had paint my nails were at best a student level finish.

Critical: ValueI went to get my hair highlighted. They took advantage of the fact that I was male and had little experience getting my hair done. I had no clue that $140 to highlight the top layer only of my hair was a complete ripoff. After speaking to many of my long hair female friends who have experience. So I paid more to get the very top of my hair highlighted and unfinished than most females pay to get a whole head of hair colored and cut. Today I need my color done again. I went to get my hair highlighted. They took advantage of the fact that I was male and had little experience getting my hair done. I had no clue that $140 to highlight the top layer only of my hair was a complete ripoff. After speaking to many of my long hair female friends who have experience. They acted like they didn’t have time to do the underneath part after they had already started. I’m not at all happy with my hair. This was way overpriced for what basically amounted to the slightest trim. To be fair, my old stylist used to cut my hair dry, and it was fine. Maybe I should have had it washed so she could actually see the texture of my hair. This person was nice, but she barely cut it and did not take enough off the length, and now my hair looks scraggly and uneven. It’s terrible. She flat-ironed my hair (which by the way, is coarse, not fine, curly, and hard to manage) extensively so that it looked okay, but it was impossible to tell whether I would be able to manage it at home. I can’t. I guess I’ll have to go back in another two weeks to have my hair recut, and at these prices (which I understand are increasing this week), it’s not going to happen.

I live 1 1/2 hours away but make my salon appointments here because I haven’t found another salon that was as nice. ALWAYS get the FREE mini facial with hair appointments…be sure to arrive with no makeup…it is Sooooooo worth it!! A free spa treatment/mini massage facial for your face…it’s so amazing!! Also they have amazing smelling Aveda soap in their bathrooms and you truly get a spa experience and feel treated there. Recently I called in to give some feedback on a service I received and because I was not 100% satisfied the manager immediately refunded my entire service fee so that I can use those funds towards my next visit. I have been to Penzone and Kenneth and other big salons and always come back to Square One as it’s top notch.

This place has gone downhill. I got an inexperienced stylist (also not very friendly) that didn’t want to do highlights for fear it would come out spotty. (No one else has ever had that issue with my hair) then the haircut looks like great clips and is longer on the right side and looks very choppy. All for only 120 dollars, what a steal! Won’t be returning

Due to some of the challenges with COVID I ended up having to find a new place to get my hair cut. This location came up while looking for men’s haircuts and I’m glad that it did. I’ve had several stylists since I first tried them out and it’s been a positive experience every time. Not sure about the services for women, but I can tell the guys it’s a first class experience.

Phenomenal service. Love going here- they go above and beyond to make the scheduling work for me every time, and every appointment is perfect. Hot tea when you arrive, a short wait (if any) and the entire staff is super friendly and remember your name every time. They always listen to what I want and make it happen for the perfect style. A mini-facial and scalp massage complete the spa experience- I only wish I could get a haircut more often. Pricing is fair too, I really can’t say enough good things about this Salon.

I had the greatest experience at this Salon. My stylist was so sweet and attentive to my needs. I was concerned about my color and was feeling old and tired looking. She assessed my overall coloring and suggested what I needed. She took her time and when she was done with my foils let me relax in peace while I processed. I hate when they are overly chatty! Anyway she shampooed my hair and added a little toner then took me back and offered me a beverage. She updated my style and, honestly, made me feel beautiful. I will go back to her forever if that’s possible! Please run don’t walk, and book yourself an upgrade at this professional, beautiful salon.
