I have been growing my hair out for 2 years to donate to wigs for kids. It was incredibly long, thick and ready to be cut. Kim, the owner and master stylist at Sproos, did the honors and I have to tell you she was AMAZING. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life. I am impossible to please and find fault with most haircuts I get, but when that rare cutter comes around and creates a masterpiece, I have to let the world know. She is a true technical artist. Brilliant, precise and a Master if Shears. I can’t recommend her enough.

Critical: Professionalism, QualitySame as “Simone Clark”I went there twice and I did not get my hair done the way I wanted. The second time I went there, she could not cover my gray hair ,as I asked since the beginning. She asked me to brush and move my hair in certain way so nobody can see it. I would think that with the amount of money I paid, my hair should be perfect, right? But it wasn’t…. I had to pay a professional to fix it. Stylist burnt the ends of my hair and most of my layers. The salon never said “we’re sorry this happened” or much of anything. The attitude of the manager and front person seemed to have cared less. Balayage

I had made an appointment to get my haircut and colored here because a friend had recommend it to me. I thought when telling the person what I was looking to get done for coloring (balayage – ombre look) that they would have but me with someone who knows what to do. I guessed wrong. I came prepared and showed several photos that I had pinned for the look I was going for. I had also explained that I was very limited on time and didn’t want it to be something where I would need to come back few month to get touched up.

I love Sproos! I’ve been going here over 2 years and highly recommend it. Hoonaz is absolutely the best! I’ve got crazy hair and she’s the first person to finally tame it. I go to her for everything. The salon is great too! They have great products, relaxed atmosphere and excellent quality of service.

GALE BERGMAN @ SPROOS! She is AMAZING in both cut and color. Downtown San Anselmo which is a treat in itself! OPEN and practicing COVID safety completely, took my temp, administered sanitizer and mask REQUIRED. She transformed my hair yesterday, I feel like a new person. AND she kept my length of my hair!! Brought in a photo of a cut and she NAILED it. Check her out you won’t be sorry.

I’ve given this place multiple chances and each time I leave supremely disappointed. The first time I got highlights here the woman concentrated so much in the front that it was very chunky blonde highlights and the rest of my hair was still the same color brown. I went in having her fix it and she ended up dying my hair back to the original color. Thank you for making me pay $200 for my original hair color! I should have known better to go back but I did anyway. I came in to get a bayalage, this hairstylist turned strands of my brown hair white! It fealt very rushed and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. It was a late appointment and she stayed after everyone left. If you are going to rush an appointment and do a sloppy job, do not schedule appointments that late! The color was so embarrassing and disappointing I didn’t even want to go to work the next day! I went into a different salon to get a second opinion and they were appalled that a salon of this stature would mess up my hair so bad! I asked for a refund of my $250 cut and color and the owner said no. Instead of giving me a refund they offered to fix it. I said sure and had to sit in a chair across from the woman who ruined my hair and she didn’t look at me or even apologize. The second woman did a bad job of covering it up with some highlights which I had to get fixed AGAIN by a friend who just graduated beauty school… I’m very upset and disappointed with this salon and will not be returning.
