SprayChic Airbrush Tanning started out as a home-based business in 2008 with just the owner spray tanning. In 2012 the business had grown to the point of needing a brick-and-mortar storefront. With the addition of 2-3 employees, SprayChic found that there was need for more space. In August 2016, they relocated to downtown Wixom and the business continues to flourish. They are passionate about educating clients about how spray tanning works to ensure they have the best outcome. They are especially proud of the relationships that have developed over the years. Clients become friends at SprayChic.

This place is hands down the best spray tan place I have ever used. You can tell everything is thought through carefully. From the heater if you are cold when they are spraying you, to the additional layer of protection spray for the water or dryer so you don’t get tan line creases, the level of attention to detail is impeccable. I have been getting spray tans for over 20 years and I have already received more compliments on my tan color in two days than i have in the past 20 years of getting them! Extremely friendly, easy to schedule and cost is comparable to other places where the color of your tan doesn’t even stay on as long. Will visit again!

I was so excited to get a spray tan here after seeing all the glowing positive reviews. I was expecting a quality beautiful spray tan based on what others were saying but unfortunately I’m very disappointed. I got my tan on Sunday and when I rinsed off I was streaky with large blotches in several spots. I’m not new to spray tanning so my prep definitely wasn’t the problem. The girl who did my tan was very nice and the salon was clean and comfortable but unfortunately the tan itself wasn’t good. When I was getting dressed I noticed a few spots that looked streaky and pointed it out before I left but I was assured it was normal and would blend in once I rinsed (unfortunately that didn’t happen). I was the last appointment for the day so maybe she was just in a rush to get out of there I don’t know. Maybe I’ll try again in the future making sure to book way before they close for the day.

Carissa did my spray tan for my wedding and it turned out amazing! I went with the accelerated tan so I didn’t have to worry about it very much. She knew the exact color I needed to be to not get washed out by my dress! I will be going back for any special events I go to!

If you are looking to get an amazing spray tan, this is the place to go! The salon is beautiful and very clean. The entire staff makes you feel welcome, comfortable, and they discuss the entire process with you. They provide everything you will need from hair ties to a hair net and disposable garments to wear during your spray tan. Their prices are extremely reasonable and as long as your follow their guidelines, your spray tan can easily last 7-10 days. They also recommend which shade you should get. I have very fair skin and they make sure I actually look like I have a tan without making it too dark. Simply the best!!
