I tend to go to Sport Clips for cuts, and usually go to a location near my home or work. I have gone to this location 3 times now, and this will be my last. The attitude of the staff at this particular store is just horrible. Not only was it just constant complaints about her job & how horrible it is, but my cut was incredibly uneven, I have hair all over my face and clothes, and she over-charged me until I questioned her about the total – even then, there was some resistance about the incorrect price. Only plus was there was no wait, and all other locations had a long wait nearby, but it’s now clear to me why there was no wait at this particular store. Never will step foot in this location again.

The young girl was very friendly and sweet. However, she’s a total rookie. She’s so lucky my 6 year old can stay perfectly still for a 30 minute haircut. (30 minutes with the sheers…she was going so slow). my son ended up getting the first BAD HAIRCUT ever. Boy did they mess up. They shaved the sides because they had no idea what I was talking about. Then couldn’t duplicate it on the other side. Really???? The girls were nice, apologetic and comped the cut. Goof thing his hair grows fast. What am I supposed to do? Scream and holler? I am VERY disappointed. And by the way, my 6 year old whispered to me he didn’t like it and almost started to cry. I told him it looks cool and it’s a big boy haircut. I don’t want him to feel bad. Ugh. I probably will not go to this location again. Wish I would have known this girl didn’t have a clue. Any other person would have had the cut done in 15 minutes or less.

Don’t normally go to this location but had to because the one in Bartlett had 1.5 hour wait. Now remember why I stopped going before and will never return. Get a buzz cut with 2 on sides and 4 on top. She used scissors for the 4 on top…never seen that before. Was uneven because of this and not right length. Sides were blended at different spots on each side. Couldn’t see how bad it was in store because of the lighting but had to completely redo hair at home because the lengths were wrong. Needless to say my hair looks horrible and will have to wait for it to grow again to fix it. Will never go back to this store. Go to the Sportclips in Bartlett!

I went in and had my hair cut by the manager Christina and it is the worst haircut I have ever had, she appeared to be in a big hurry, she was done in about 7-10 min. She seemed put out because I asked her to take just a little more off so she just chopped away, it’s all uneven and looks terrible now I have to go somewhere else to have it corrected. I will never ever go back to that location. Again the worst chopped up haircut ever !!!! You are taking a huge risk getting your haircut there.

I’ve been to multiple locations of Sport Clips, but this West Chicago location stands out above the rest! The staff is very friendly and welcoming and they always take the time to get your haircut exactly right. As a guy that knows more about sports than style, their team of stylists have done a great job with answering every question I’ve ever asked (I’m rather particular so I ask a lot of questions!). I highly recommend this location, because even though I get a varsity haircut, I still leave feeling like an MVP!
