I moved to Southaven about a year ago with my 2 sons. We used SportsClips in Memphis when we lived there and I guessed I was happy. After using this location, ai now realize that I’m in fact happy now, this location is a night and day difference. It’s not easy as a single father period but, they sure make it easy to get a 4 & 5yr old as well as myself in and out with tight and right haircuts. All the techs do a great job, haven’t been disappointed yet. I also noticed they dont seem to have the employee turnover issues like Memphiz, they all actually talk and laugh amongst themselves, it really adds more comfort than they may realize.

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been to this barber shop a few times since moving here 6 months ago. I always used their app and had no problems until today. I checked in on the app as they always ask and there was no wait. Took me a 5 minute drive to arrive. It was 15 minutes before closing when I arrived (which I admit I do not like to do to people at the last minute, but I’m working so many hours it’s hard to go sooner) and the staff refused to trim my hair ( literally it takes them 15 minutes to trim my short hair). They stated they close in 5 minutes although that was not true. I informed them I had checked in the app and that was my name there on the screen!I was informed the app should have never let me check in and they are refusing me due to closing soon! I am highly disappointed and will not use any of their chains again. Been going here for years so that says it all. The new check-in app is REALLY nice and I use it every time. I have 2 ladies that I use to cut my hair and the app tells me if they are in and how long the wait is. So if you are not using the app you should be. I will say this one negative, whoever picked out and got the “hair washing chairs” got the absolute most uncomfortable chairs known to mankind. They are absolutely terrible and I no longer do shampoos (the VIP service). The person who picked them out corporately should have to sit in one for 8 hours (actually 1 would suffice) and they would remove those chairs from every Sports Clips. Yes they are that bad and that uncomfortable. it totally kills the hair washing cucumber experience. I can say I told you so!
