Awful haircut, I’ve truly never seen something so bad from sports clips. The woman who cut my hair was even using the tools incorrectly (used clipper going horizontally on back of my neck, which hurt pretty bad and it’s now red and irritated). I’ve been to many sports clips throughout the chicago region and this was by far the worst. It was business as usual up until the barber started shaving my neck. I’m not certain if she was forcing the razor down or it was a bad razor but she caused major razor burn on the back of my neck and never acknowledged it. I think she knew this because she never offered a mirror to checkout my haircut, just asked if I needed anything else. She also was drying my hair too long in single areas with the hair dryer so long that it started to burn my scalp. She was more concerned with selling products and additional services rather than the haircut at hand, which is easy enough that I do it at home myself every other month. Over all a disappointing experience, I will not be returning to this location.

I had a great experience with Sport Clips at Wrigley! I had to get my haircut I will be fixed because I made the poor decision of going to another haircut place. Veronica was very professional from start to finish. The way she answered my hair questions tell me that she is very passionate of her work. It shows as well at the caliber of result she produced. I wished she could have been my regular stylist back in Hawaii but at least I know when I visit Chicago to look for her again. Mahalo!

WOW…….that’s all I want to say but then you’d think I was saying WOW because of how much I liked it. WRONG! I just moved to Wrigleyville and have been busy with work & school but needed a haircut. Sport Clips is right by my place so I decided to try them out for the first time. Ill keep it short. I wanted a $20 haircut. Just a 0-2 guard fade. I ended up getting a military all 0 board “bald fade” and I hate it. Not only was I upset about that; what really got me was the way the stylist came about the price. My hair cut ended up costing $39.99 and I was wondering how that could be since I asked for a $20 cut. Oh, the stylist had demanded for me to let her shampoo my hair because she wouldn’t be able to give me her “best cut” with the products in my hair. I don’t understand how a $5 shampoo add on charge accumulates to $20. I was SO confused. She mentioned how they do razor blade neck shaves but she never did it to me? Their most expensive haircut is $27 and includes a cut, shampoo, hot towel, and a massage. I didn’t get no towel, or massage, let alone the right haircut. But yet I was forced to pay $39.99 that I never agreed upon and then HAD to tip the stylist $5 for screwing me over. $45 later… I can say that I WILL NEVER GO BACK to SPORT CLIPS! They are legit con artists and if they aren’t then they sure come across as it. I got my haircuts cut with Big Sean by his barber and those were $40 haircuts! My barber in portage park spend 90 minutes giving me the best haircut of my life and only charges $25. I hope you Sport Clips managers see this and fix the way some of your stylist represent your business. If you read this, thank you. All I ask is to take my advice. Save the money, don’t go here!

I’m not sure what’s happened here. Maybe it was an off day, but this location used to consistently give good cuts. This woman had a great personality, and I enjoyed our conversation immensely. The haircut though… I know I could have done a better job with a pair of scissors in the shower without a mirror. After the cut, I though “maybe it’ll look like it should after a shower?”.. nope… I look like Street Fighter Guile with a slight fade. I’ll have to go to a barber to get it evened out now. This woman would be great in the corporate world with her schmoozing skills, but remove the clippers from her hands asap please.
