I was a little nervous because I’m new to the area and worried about finding a hairdresser that does work I like. Shilby knocked out of the park! She talked through my wishes and asked me to describe what I meant so she knew exactly what I expected and she gave me a really fantastic cut and spiced up my color perfectly. I’m glad I found her and will definitely be seeing her again! ☺️

I came in with box dyed red hair, terrible dry ends, and an uneven cut. One of the stylists, Brittany, gave me hope for my hair again. She sat me down, gave me blonde highlights mixed in with ash brown lowlights, cut, and styled my hair. The process was lengthy but my hair needed a lot of work and she took her time, was patient, detailed, explained the process, and made sure everything she was doing was okay with me. She was also very sweet and very informative on how to manage my hair. My hair is beautiful and feels so much better. The red is gone, my ends are healthy, the cut is beautiful, and I felt so good about myself walking out of that salon! The place is very clean and well kept, and they are following all of the pandemic guidelines. If you want beautiful hair, go to Southern Roots and ask for Brittany!!I LOVE THIS SALON! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. No matter how long it’s been since I’ve popped in they always seem to call me by name and remember how I like my hair cut. While the staff at franchise salons shove the clippers into my head like a fat kid going after a bowl of ice cream, the staff at Hair and Now are always mindful not to cause any discomfort.
