I went to this salon for a last minute hair cut after work, and George did a wonderful job! He really spent time making sure the cut I had done was done well, and done to compliment my face shape. I have been getting my hair cut by Julia at Snip Plus ever since moving to Boston several years ago. She is by far the best hairdresser I have come across—very kind, gentle, and always gets the style I’m looking for exactly right! From when I had long hair (down to the small of my back), to my shoulder length bob, she always cuts my hair exactly as I requested, and it always looks better than I envisioned it. If you’re on the lookout for a new hair salon and nervous about getting your hair cut by a new person, Julia will put your mind at ease! I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI had the worst haircut experience ever from this place. The lady that cut my hair seemed miserable and really rushed me. She didn’t even seem like she wanted to be there. I asked two times if she would give me side bangs and after she cut my hair, she rushed me to pay and said bye to me without cutting my side bangs. I had to go home and YouTube how to cut side bangs on my own! She also questioned how I wanted my hair cut without explaining why she was questioning me. I did not feel good after going there. I had an awesome experience at Snip Plus! I live on the border of Cambridge and Watertown and saw that this place had good reviews so tried it out and I’m so glad I did! Lana was so sweet and did such a great job. You can tell she has been cutting hair for over 30 years. I have been burned by some awful haircuts because I have bangs that often get butchered, but I’m very happy with my hair cut and will definitely return! Thanks, Lana! As a new customer I also got a complimentary 20% off my first cut.
