Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueMy 5 yo needed a major haircut, last few times I’ve been to one of the commercial places and just really not satisfied. I was in Walmart and just recently moved in this area and saw they had a Smart Style, we were there on a Friday evening and they just happen to have no wait! He got Vanessa! Nice young lady, polite! I think she has given him the best cut he’s ever had, and I’ve taken him for at least a dozen cuts since he was a tot to various places. I asked for her to use a #4 razor on his sides and scissor cut the top, she did an amazing job!! The only other cut that is even close was one he had from a barber in California! And you cant beat the $19 price! Anyone complaining about a high cost here, silly! The average cost for just an adult cut anywhere you go is $35! I’m glad I found someone that finally knows a good clean cut on my grandson! Oh, he likes spikey, so he asked for gel and she delivered! I’ll be taking my granddaughter next! My 5 yo needed a major haircut, last few times I’ve been to one of the commercial places and just really not satisfied. I was in Walmart and just recently moved in this area and saw they had a Smart Style, we were there on a Friday evening and they just happen to have no wait! He got Vanessa! Nice young lady, polite! Booked a last minute appt with Brittney for.a color, highlight and cut. I wanted something different – going for a totally new look. Brittney not only worked with me on the best color combination, but gave me a great cut as well. Love my new look ! Critical: ProfessionalismI originally came in to get just my hair colored, but my hair dresser was persistent on me getting a cut with it even though I told her not today multiple times, in the end she decided to do it anyway which is whatever because I guess I did need it but it’s frustrating she did it anyway. Considering I was already paying for so much because I was dying my hair a vibrant color I wanted to be on a budget. Thought I made that clear. The process was fine I guess, she was friendly and all (some times made me a bit uncomfortable) but then in the end she styled my hair so weirdly (I hated it) and then was trying to make me buy an expensive shampoo and conditioner even though I made it pretty obvious I was trying to be on a budget and I also already had color safe shampoo and conditioner at home. Luckily she left that be and we moved on. Not even 3 days later and ONE wash majority of my color came out. I tried to call her but she blamed me completely saying I should of gotten the products and took cold showers. I told her I had product at home and I took cold showers AND I did leave in conditioner. Still was my fault. ‍♀️I decided to throw her a text instead because I’m bad at talking on the phone. I gave her proof of EVERYTHING and just simply asked for a refund and still too this day she never responded. 4 hours and 140 dollars later and it only last three days and one wash Every time I come here it is a disaster. I originally came in to get just my hair colored, but my hair dresser was persistent on me getting a cut with it even though I told her not today multiple times, in the end she decided to do it anyway which is whatever because I guess I did need it but it’s frustrating she did it anyway.
