Critical: ProfessionalismI received a haircut. When I got home I realized that one side of my hair was over an inch longer on one side. There was a big chunk of hair that she just missed. I went to get it fixed. By this point I wasn’t mad. It happens. But when I got there the manager not only did not apologize, she wouldn’t fix my hair. She said I had to come back. I have a really busy schedule and couldn’t get back for over a week. I asked for her to please fix it, because there was no customers there. She said no. I received a haircut. When I got home I realized that one side of my hair was over an inch longer on one side. There was a big chunk of hair that she just missed. I went to get it fixed. By this point I wasn’t mad. It happens. But when I got there the manager not only did not apologize, she wouldn’t fix my hair. She said I had to come back. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis place is amazing! All of the attention and quality of one of those expensive shops but at great prices and people. Although the shop is good, Fina Gonzalez is the reason for the 5 star rating. Fina has cut my picky head for at least 5 years and each time I walk out feeling like I’ve had the best hair cut ever. This place is amazing! All of the attention and quality of one of those expensive shops but at great prices and people. Although the shop is good, Fina Gonzalez is the reason for the 5 star rating. Fina has cut my picky head for at least 5 years and each time I walk out feeling like I’ve had the best hair cut ever. Her quality, personality and customer care make her the diamond here in Lenoir City!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMy teenaged son has the most incredible head of thick wavy hair…the type of hair that we women spend all the money on products to achieve. I am so jealous. Anyway, he is also very picky about who touches his hair. We had gone to stylist after stylist trying to find someone who would live up to his expectations. So, on a whim, while shopping at Walmart LC, we poked our heads in at SmartStyle and talked to Rachael. She had an immediate opening, so I Ieft him in her chair while I did my shopping. Well, that’s been about a year or more now, and every 6 weeks he reminds me to make an appointment with Rachael. He simply will not consider anyone else. During early part of reopening after quarantine, appointments were so hard to come by, and he was starting to resemble Cousin It…and I absolutely begged him to let me take him to one of the quick cut salons, just so I could make eye contact with him again, but he stood firm and waited for Rachael to become available. She listens to him and is patient with him, so he leaves the chair happy. She also teaches him how to use styling tools, such as straight iron, so he can control his hair at home. …Since then, Rachael has also been cutting my hair, as well. She is super helpful with suggesting products to help me with volume and texture, since I wasn’t gifted the great hair my son has. At the same time, I am never pressured to buy this or that, which is a nice change of pace from most salons. She is super nice and has become a friend that we look forward to seeing on a regular basis. My teenaged son has the most incredible head of thick wavy hair…the type of hair that we women spend all the money on products to achieve. I am so jealous. Anyway, he is also very picky about who touches his hair. We had gone to stylist after stylist trying to find someone who would live up to his expectations. I had been looking for a place to go and take my 3 kids to get get their hair done and it’s always been what if I don’t like the way they cut their hair and finally I found this place that’s been great and affordable, great personal and very friendly, I’ve always dealt with Mrs.González and she has been outstanding, and now even my wife goes here she too loves the place.
