I called before I made the trip because I stay over an hour away, Angela said she would be able to flat iron & curl my hair. After arriving the got my name & number & I was told to come back at 4:30, when I walked by she was still doing someone else’s hair. After walking around some more, I went back, as I was about to sit down she said she couldn’t do my hair because she had to watch the other customers bleach or something like that. She tried asking about booking another appointment but to already make a blank trip had made me mad. I just feel like because I called and explained that I was a hour away I should’ve been taken care of. It will be a while before I try them again.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and if I’m going to give you a low rating, I’m also going to make it clear why I did. I’ve been natural for about two years now, but my beautician moved away. So I was referred to SmartStyle on Whiskey Road. I made an appointment for a shampoo and condition, but wasn’t told that I had to ask for extra time or I’d be leaving with a no style-wet head. That was minor but I consider it very major when someone is pulling and breaking my hair off.
