I love this salon! She’s very communicative, professional and passionate about her work. The hair I’ve purchased from her has no shedding, colors easily and I’ve had for years! This shop is absolutely gorgeous. Kendra sets the ambiance every time I’ve gotten my hair done. She has done my silk presses/trims on my natural hair and I’ve had her hair extensions. I loved my hair every single time. She makes sure it’s exactly what you want and that you leave satisfied. She communicates well and will try to make accommodations if any are needed. Her hair extensions and wigs are an investment! The hair extensions are beautiful. She is excellent at what she does. I would recommend. Terrible customer service with Curriosty. She texted 34 mins before my appointment that she wasn’t feeling well and needed to push the appointment an hour back. I understood and initially offered to reschedule, she insisted she could still do the service but it would only take her an hour at the most I understood and waited. After waiting over an hour I texted her to see how far away she was and that if she wasn’t near we can cancel she informed that she was close. She finally called and said the road was blocked and she couldn’t get there and she wasn’t familiar with the area (ummmmm GPS?). The conclusion was made that my hair wouldn’t be getting done that day so she offered gas money and to reschedule (after having me continually waiting) I told her I would let her know. After thinking on it, I never received an apology at all so i decided not to reschedule. She never had any empathy of how me as a first time customer may have felt. I was inconvenienced at the end of the day. She has a strict policy and outrageous fees occur if not followed so it’s easily to think she’s professional. The total opposite. Not to mention I spent over $400 on 3 bundles of her hair because you have to use her hair to be serviced. I also paid a $50 deposit and she refused to respond to my message asking for a refund. It’s so sad that black women are poorly treated in the hair community by their own. I love to support my people but the lack of empathy and customer service is terrible. Do better!
