We are a harmonious, unique and luxurious Day Spa and Hair Salon located in the historic district of Enfield, CT, right on Route 190, Hazard Ave. Our free standing building was built in the mid 1800’s and we have tried to preserve as much of the historic interior as possible, i.e. the original woodwork , paneling, etc. In keeping with the historic theme and it’s uniqueness, our interior is decorated with antiques and traditional furniture. We offer all types of Hair and Spa services including Facials, Peels, Body Treatments, Manicures and Pedicures. We would enjoy having you as our guest and assure you, that you will be pampered. This is my first time at Scruples. How have I not come here before? What a beautiful place. The owner, Crystal, is a gem! The surroundings are so elegant and charming. I had a relaxing therapeutic massage. My therapist, Meilani, was delightful. I definitely will be back.

Positive: QualityJust received a “deep tissue massage”. I filled out the form stating my lower back needs to be addressed and it wasn’t even touched. The masseuse was very nice but I would not have classified that as a deep tissue. It was essentially a rub down with lotion. No pressure was provided and no muscles were worked out. I get a massage at least twice a year but this was my first experience at this location. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. If you’re looking for a a light touch massage, more of a Swedish, then go for it but don’t expect much more. Two stars just because they were very nice women who worked there.Edit: after reading this review, the owner personally mailed a gift certificate to cover another massage in hopes I would have a better experience. I was finally able to schedule another massage and had a fantastic experience. I received a deep tissue massage that was perfect pressure! Melani was absolutely amazing!! One of the best massages I’ve ever received and I get them often. She was very skilled in her work and knew exactly what pressure points to help alleviate pain I was having. The spa is a little dated but everyone was so nice, and helpful!
