Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMy bridal party and I used Scissors Salon and Day Spa for my wedding for hair “up-do’s” and makeup. First of all the spa is relaxed and welcoming . It is modern and spotless. Dia colored and styled my hair and I used extensions for the first time. My hair was absolutely beautiful. My bridesmaids worked with Dia, Marlena, Pat, and Alexa. They each wanted a different hairstyle and one of them used extensions as well. I can honestly say that every style was unique and flattering and all received compliments . Makeup was truly flawless and held up for the entire day and evening. Truly, these women are magicians! If you are in need of styling for an event or want to refresh your daily look, don’t hesitate to try this amazing salon. Prices are fair and honest and they really want every client to leave happy. I would also add that I used Annette for facials for the first time at the spa in the weeks prior to the wedding. What an indulgence, she uses amazing products and my ultra sensitive skin loved it. You cannot miss giving this Salon and Spa a try. My bridal party and I used Scissors Salon and Day Spa for my wedding for hair “up-do’s” and makeup. First of all the spa is relaxed and welcoming . It is modern and spotless. It usually lasts for two weeks, with possible need for a little touch up before my next appointment. I do use my hands a lot. The owner and personnel are all friendly and make you feel comfortable. This time I was there only for a manicure. I’ve been using Scissors for years. Gina is an excellent manicurist. It usually lasts for two weeks, with possible need for a little touch up before my next appointment. I do use my hands a lot. The owner and personnel are all friendly and make you feel comfortable. As they have just moved to these quarters, the place is still in the midst of a redesign.

Critical: ProfessionalismDia referred me to Annette for laser hair removal. Annette (esthetician) sold me several laser hair removal sessions which burned my skin and left scabs. After pressing her for details on the laser she used and why this happened, she told me it was IPL. For anyone who understands skin of color, knows IPL cannot and should not be done on dark skin tones. This was a waste of time and money and damaging to my skin. Dia referred me to Annette for laser hair removal. Annette (esthetician) sold me several laser hair removal sessions which burned my skin and left scabs. After pressing her for details on the laser she used and why this happened, she told me it was IPL.
