Kim is my stylist and she’s great! She is so warm and friendly and the whole time I’ve been going to her, she makes it so easy to make appointments. She does a great job cutting my hair and she always listens to what I want to do. She has never tried to talk me out of what I want to do and whenever I describe what I want, she executes on that perfectly. She actually makes it look even better than I imagine!!! I have had her dye my hair in the past as well and that was super fun! The salon is really fun on the inside and a great, laid back atmosphere. I’m always really comfortable there! I recommend this salon and Kim very highly!

Every time I go to Salon Rex I know I will walk out a very happy customer. Jessie is fantastic and Rex is so personable and sweet. You honestly couldn’t go wrong getting your hair done here. I’m always giving Jessie a challenge when it comes to color and my hair, I love change! And she’s always up for it and over exceeds my expectations!

Natalie did my hair and did a truly AMAZING job. Not only did she give me exactly what a asked for (a two-toned mohawk), but she was informative and educated me through the whole process on how the colors may alter over time and how to help preserve my style. I will certainly be going back when I need touch-ups done. A wonderful experience and nice touch of normalcy during the tail end of a pandemic. This was my first time going to this salon amd I honestly could not be happier with the quality and level of service I received. Natalie did my hair and did a truly AMAZING job. Not only did she give me exactly what a asked for (a two-toned mohawk), but she was informative and educated me through the whole process on how the colors may alter over time and how to help preserve my style. I always see jessi at salon Rex I was the model she used to get the position there. I’ve been going to her since she was at fantastic sams. She always cuts and colors my hair. It has never turned out exactly how I wanted, sometimes not even close and I have used pictures to show what I want and have even tried basic colors, though my hair usually looked good and I’m not one to complain “it’s just hair”, I’ve had multiple colors grey, purple, white, silver, blonde, red, black. When she worked at fantastic sams she said they never turned out right because of the types of products they used. Now at salon Rex she says it’s my “challenging hair colors. I cried with grey and purple and still had to pay to fix it. White was always blonde. Colors would fade by the 2nd wash, she tells me not to wash my hair. And I have to pay to fix it. My job was never in jeopardy until now in July I spent $230 on my hair, not even a week or 2 apart, I had two cuts and colors “toners”. Tried red and it turned hot pink and I couldn’t afford to do red again and it turn back pink so I tried black which was $70 she said the color would have been about $150 being tight on money I did $70 thinking I’d have awhile to save up, no instead the black turned peacock colors blue, green, purple and with my job being in jeopardy I had to say something she tells me the color is now $70 and she could fix it for $35 and that $230 was a great deal for 2 cuts and colors “toners” like I’m sorry you messed my hair up twice now in a month and I don’t have anymore money to give you. Guess I’ll buy a box color until I can afford to have it stripped and bleached back blonde which by the end of this I will have spent more on my hair then rent. No longer a loyal customer and I do not plan on returning to salon Rex. Having your hair ruined 2 times for $230 isn’t a great deal for me. Especially when I’ve paid for your mistakes so many times in the past.

Kaleidoscopes new home! You can’t go wrong here. A salon full of highly expert experienced stylists with a vast array of talents. Conservative or wild dressed up or down this is the place to go. Love Kim and Rex and the others are awesome too!

The new home of Kaleidoscope Salon, is Salon Rex! I love the space here. It’s a very comfortable room, and a fun space. It’s also a huge relief that Kaleidoscope is still alive, even if not in its original home. I’ve found everybody at Rex, lovely to be around.
