I have called and Facebook & Instagram messaged this salon multiple times and eventually was told they would get back with me. (They never did). Unless you want to move mountains so you can pay them hundreds of dollars to get your hair done – I don’t recommend.

Best Hair Artist hands down Luna is a true Gem!!! She never disappoints I started going to Luna for now maybe almost 2 years she will forever be my hair stylist. She takes great care of my hair I don’t even really tell her what to do to it anymore I just let her work her hair magic. Anyone looking for a new salon I highly recommend Salon Moon Hair Studio.

I wouldn’t even give this place a one star. I had my hair done on Saturday 09/29 and after one wash it was completely gone by Monday 10/01. Not worth $300!! But that’s not even my complaint. I text Luna Labarca (owner) to see how we could fix my hair and to my surprise I got a text that was for another stylist that was about me. She stated word for word “I told her you would message her. She’s pissing me off and I’m about to go off on her”. This is a very unprofessional place and I WOULD NOT spend a dime here because apparently you’ll be pissing them off if you don’t like your hair.

I wish I could give negative stars. It has taken me 2 years to get my hair healthy again after going here. I was a healthy platinum blonde color, I decided to give this place a try. At first my experience was good they answered the phone right away, all was good until Gladys dried my hair. The color (on my roots) didn’t match my previous color. Gladys put me back in the bowl and put on my hair what I thought was a toner. Lord Jesus I thought the flesh on my scalp was going to melt off. After 30mins of enduring this agonizing pain I begged her to wash it off. I left looking great the hair on my scalp was a little stiff but it usually is after I leave from getting bleached. Fast forward a week later and a couple of washes at this point. My hair never started to feel good no matter what I put on it including hair masks. Then it happened, I had huge clumps of hair falling out when I washed it. After a couple days of this I went up there to tell them and they blamed it all on me. They claimed I used the purple shampoo TOO OFTEN (once a week). Luna told me if it was their fault I would have breakage from my roots. My hair broke off and I bawled every time I had to wash my hair I truly felt like I would end up bald with globs of hair in my hands. Even going back she said the most she would do is a hair rejuvenating treatment, so I let her. I have been dying my hair at that point for 3 years the platinum blonde color. I still to this day cannot believe she had the audacity to blame me for what they did to my hair. I went from having long luxurious hair past my bra strap to having hair right at my collar bone. Never have I ever had such a horrible experience at any place I been too like I did at Salon Moon. For those of you who like going to this place, good for you. For those of you who want to try a new place like I did please think twice :’( I now have a wedding coming up and my hair is not as long as I would like since I kept having to cut off the damaged hair. I had a piece on the back of my head was 3 inches long. It is now all finally one length, but I will NEVER forget what I went through because of this place because there were nights I could not stop crying and there was nothing I could do.

I went to the same place to get my hair done for over 20 years, I was searching for somewhere new and a friend of mine recommended Salon Moon. I’m very happy with my hair color; it is absolutely beautiful; however, I’m very unhappy with the work ethic. I tried getting Saturday appointments, but that seemed to be an issue. I decided I’d TAKE OFF WORK to go there, but my appointment times kept being changed or cancelled. I didn’t even get a call so they could reschedule my appointment. Apparently, they get to cancel your appointment at the last minute, and then you are responsible for calling them to try to get another appointment. If you don’t want or need my business, that is totally fine….just let me know that so I don’t waste my time.

Luna is hands down amazing but when you call to cancel 1 hour before an appointment you’ve already paid $400 deposit for I’d expect a little more professionalism. I don’t mind spending money on my hair it makes you feel beautiful and I love to brag about a great stylist but this isn’t the 1st time. I wasn’t even given a time to reschedule or anything. All of the stylists have worked on my hair all great except Lunas sister …. I got ombré an it looked brassy I was told to buy purple shampoo an come in when they have the toner special. Wasn’t worth the over $300 I paid after I made my complaints known Luna told me oh yes I’ve heard you weren’t happy with your services before …. nobody would be happy with brassy hair. I suggest her sister learn from Luna an instead of complaining that I didnt like my hair perfect your craft. It’s a beautiful salon, lots of potential I’m sad I won’t be coming back because of these reasons like I said Lunas great at what she does.
