Barbara at the beautiful Salon Jaylee was the best hairstylist I have seen in FL since moving from New York. Thank goodness I found her. She explained how my color wasn’t covering and how we could use an enhanced product and get a richer color. While the color was setting Barbara treated my ends with TENAJ mask, which I had never had it was amazing. My haircut was exactly how I love it, keeping the length with perfect shape. She was forthright about the products she wanted to use and never pressured me to purchase anything. My hair looks beautiful and I will definitely be returning for all my styling and treatments. Barbara is passionate about what she does. She is a gifted and experienced stylist. I enjoyed spending time with her and the welcoming staff at the salon.

Love my hair. I’ve been coloring my shoulder length hair myself for years, but lately can’t seem to get the gray to cover. Barbara did an amazing job and highlights. It is beautiful. It is a bit pricey but when you want an expert opinion and service I expect to pay for it. She also gave me some good tips to do on my own in between professional touch ups.

I have used Asia from the Magnolia Plaza location as my colorist and stylist for the past couple of months, and I can say that not only was the color fantastic (dead-on match for my natural hair color), but the cut was simply the best that I have EVER had – even better than some “name” stylists that I have used in the past. I could not have asked for a better visit! This will never be a bargain-basement salon, but the service, skills, and overall staff friendliness (including the front desk staff) are well worth the price.

I have been to several salons in The Villages. Put on a helmet and style my hair. Nightmares! I recently saw Barbara C. at Magnolia Plaza. An angel. She not only transformed my hair from frizzy to silk, but redid my makeup and introduced me to a few skin treatments to be used at home. I look and feel younger! Really! I came to Salon Jaylee as a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon. Though everyone was booked, Barbara said she would be happy to fit me in to her schedule. She meticulously cut away damage from heat, hard water, and anesethia from my four recent surgical procedures.
