Their service is impeccable and they are very detailed in their extensions. I’ve been to other salons and this salon is so much better. They took their time to explain all the different options but also work with me since I had allergic reactions to the products at other salons. But when I first stepped into Salon de Beaute, I was amazed by the comfortable environment and the feeling of welcome that they provided for the customers. The owner is very friendly and professional. Before we started, she gave me a consultation on what kind of eyelashes I like. She also gave me a lot of advice on how to take care of the eyelashes on my own. The technician is very careful about attaching synthetic lashes to my existing natural lashes. Best lashes in the city. I’ve been getting my lashes done for 7+ yrs now. When I first moved to NYC I tried so many different places to find my “lash person” and this was the first place that really understands my eye shape, well attentive, super friendly and is more affordable than other places especially with the quality you’re getting. I’d never gotten lash extensions before, but I was curious, and a friend recommended this place. Thoughts: 1. Try 80 your first time. That was enough for me. I wanted a mascara-ed but not falsies look and got exactly that. 2. They do a really thorough consultation that covers options from fullness to shape to type to length, color, etc. The customization is great. 3. If looking for a full but not false look, don’t do cat-eye. I would change this the second time around. 4. I was worried that getting mink would mean animal cruelty, but they told me it’s all synthetic, so I’m happy to hear that. 5. If it’s your first time, just be aware that it might sting for a moment at the end when you open your eyes, but it’s only momentary. 6. You will have to be very careful with your lashes if you want them to last. I don’t think I can handle this responsibility long-term, so I’ll probably go back to mascara, but the saved time getting ready in the morning was almost worth it. Okay, that’s my two cents!

I live in the area and found Salon de Beaute on google map and made an appointment. The owner (Bora) was so insightful during the consultation and recommended the jc curl 11 natural shape. I love my lashes and they’re so comfortable that I can’t even tell I have them on (usually when I get lashes they’re not always comfortable and can be bothersome). Overall just a great experience with awesome results. Highly recommend! :))
