I have been going to Gary knight for years My hair is below my waist I can’t go anywhere without someone asking me who does my hair because it looks so good. One of the main reasons I go to him is because he takes he’s time and does a awesome job. He is able to take off all dead ends without taking off the length of your hair he knows what a inch is also.He always ask how much do you want off what kind of look do you have in mind etc. etc. The only thing he does ask is for you to use good products on your hair to help him to be able to do the best on your hair .If I wanted a quick haircut and didn’t care about all these years it took me to grow it I would go to walmarts ! Thanks Gary don’t change keep up the awesome job!l!!!

Had my hair cut by Garry and was extremely disappointed. While he was nice, the haircut was a disaster. He told me he would cut “maybe 1/2 inch” of my long hair. After my 1 1/4 hour haircut, my hair was ruined. He did a technique that he said he learned from a Vidal Sassoon course in 1984 where he “trimmed out all split ends” up the entire length of my hair in multiple layers. When I shown my hair in the mirror I was devastated. The cut was jagged, the sides were cut 3 inches shorter than the back and it was completely uneven. I left without the color that I was scheduled for because I was so upset about the cut. I found another salon that was willing to do the color and try to blend the jagged edges of the ends of my hair. However, I was told by 3 stylists from 2 separate salons that I will require a keratin treatment (very expensive) to repair the damage that he did by CAUSING split ends instead of trimming them. RUN from this stylist. Although he was nice (and did not make me pay for the cut), he costs me hundreds of dollars in repairs!! Also, I saw 2 bugs running around the salon space he uses. This is the first review I have ever posted on the internet, but I really wish someone has warned me!

I was soooo excited to get my hair cut at this salon and ended up being so disappointd with the result!!! I explained exactly what I wanted and even provided a photo; my hair looks NOTHING like I wanted!!! I thought this would be the place to go but I was wrong; actually had made four appointment for my children to get their hair cut before school starts but I cancelled that immediately!!! So disappointed and so wish I had not tipped HIM; also was not told about a 12.00 hair treatment that was put in but charged for it when I was leaving. Would not reccoment this salon to ANYONE!!!
