I’ve gone to Tamara at Saddity Hair since moving to LA, two years ago. I’ve had a stellar experience — from customer service to hair styling — each and every time. Her team is great, and I always leave with my hair looking flawless. Best of all, she really cares about hair health and retention; my hair has grown so much while under her care, and she takes special care of my very sensitive scalp. Bonus: she has the best edge control in the world. A must-have!

Very bad customer service. NO hair care skills ability, only styling. Will use a fine tooth comb and rake it through your 4c hair. Will tell you they used your medicated shampoo and it will still be sealed unopened when you get home. It’s a mean girl shop. Read all the bad reviews and trust its not worth it.

Came twice (on time) and both times my experience was terrible. If I have an appointment I expect to get my hair washed within 20 mins upon arrival. I waited close to 2 hours before I got my hair washed by the owner’s assist. However, my appointment was with the actual owner, Tamara. I simply wanted a wash and hot oil treatment only to find out I received some type of treatment I didn’t even ask for. Instead of letting me know they did not have a hot oil treatment she decides to “allegedly” put a treatment in my hair (I didn’t ask for) anyways and turned around and charged me for it. I was charged a total of $105 just to get my hair washed and blow bried. Thank God for the chic who stayed late that night I got my ponytail done… because of her I was able to have my ponytail properly installed because the owner Tamara dosent know how to braid. I would never again come to back to this overpriced for nothing salon. Idgaf how nice it looks… it simply not worth it. If you do decide to go make sure you deal with anyone besides the owner. She is unprofessional, unreliable, can’t do hair worth nothin, and has terrible communication skills.

The owner Tamara is very unprofessional and couldn’t care less about her customers. I ordered 2 packs of hair extensions and less than 2 hours later sent her an email saying that I needed to cancel my order, because I ordered the wrong kind (I needed tape ins but ordered regular tracks) they were expensive so I needed the refund before purchasing the correct ones. After not hearing from her, I opened a claim with PayPal. She then emailed me saying that once I closed the claim, she’d refund me. However PayPal warned me against closing the case before receiving the refund because some sellers may not refund after, and once you close the case, it can’t be reopened. So i told her this and that I would close it as soon as I received the refund. I further explained to her what PayPal suggested. She emailed me in the middle of the night saying, “can you call me”. Sounds sketchy, right? I emailed her back that I would rather have a documented conversation via email. She then said she doesn’t want to refund me and that I’ll have to wait for PayPal to make a decision. Of course PayPal refunded me, but I had to wait 10 whole days. What type of business operates this way? Go support a different black owned business!!!!!
