I have had horrible experiences with stylists doing my hair to the point that I learned how to do it myself and loved it. A couple years ago I started helping my elderly neighbor run her errands since she couldn’t drive anymore and she had one of the ladies at Roy’s doing her hair. So every week I would take her in and she’d get her hair done and I’d watch Roy while I waited. I have seen him do so many types of styles and colors treatments that when I started working full time and didn’t have time to do my hair anymore, I made an appointment. I have loved everything he has done and he is consistent with my hair. I get highlights, lowlights, and a base color. I will bring in a photo of a hairstyle and he nails it every time. I always get compliments on my hair. I have actually been in a different county, at an appt. and had a girl compliment my hair and ask who did it. Two weeks later I saw her getting her hair done on their facebook page! From a different county she traveled! If you’re looking for a new hairdresser, check him out!

I personally requested Roy because I was recommended by a close friend. And I was blown away on how amazing he was. Don’t get me wrong he’s a very kind and humble guy but it has been two different incident that I have dislike my experience and the reason why I don’t trust anyone with my hair. First time was two years ago, I went to get the ombre because it was popular at the time. And he did highlights instead and the results were three different colors. I was upset and I let it go because I thought maybe he confused my explanation. And today makes it twice. This time I indeed wanted highlights, instead I get orange highlights. And because last time it was bad I actually showed him a picture on I wanted. I even mentioned to him if he could bleached or tone my hair because I had not colored it in a while. And it happened again. I was upset and left. Instead him fixing it or not charging me, he just told to come in next week to tone it. Nope not a chance.
