I met Paolo at the shop he used to work at before he opened up Royal Cuts and I am glad I did. The first time I met Paolo, I was looking for a different hairstyle. After picking one, Paolo sat with me for at least an hour and a half to explain how to style my hair properly. It was the first time I saw a barber take such pride in his work. By the way, I was his last appointment of the night, which was already an hour after the shop had closed.

$45??? Writing this review out of experience and honesty. Paolo is a really nice guy and his shop is super nice. Let me just start off with I went in there to get a fade and not even touch the top of my hair because I was growing it out. He spent almost an hour and a half trying to get it right. I always observe the way my barbers hold their clippers and he seemed so nervous and unexperienced. After finishing the cut that was not the best I got up to pay and I expected to be 20 bucks at the most since he barely did anything to my hair but he told me my total was $45. I was honestly at shock and I have no problem paying for a service that is worth it. Notice how he doesn’t list his prices anywhere. I don’t typically leave negative reviews but for a guy that gets his hair cut every week or two I had to. He said he’s been cutting for 8 years but I felt like I was one of his first cuts ever. Like I said really nice guy but definitely not worth it one bit.

Been going to Paolo for over 5 years now and he is the absolute best. Very meticulous and great attention to detail. Paolo helped me confidently change up styles after having the same look for 20 years. He takes pride in what he does and that translates through to the quality of every cut. Highly recommended!!

Paolo is a really great. Friendly and a good barber. He is very meticulous and has great attention to detail which results in long haircuts; however, the problem is the end result just doesn’t justify the time and money spent. My biggest gripe, is how he runs his business. He is appointment only which is great, but if he forgets your appointment and doesn’t show, and then can’t fit you in until hours later, what’s the point of having an appointment in the first place. This has happened to me and I have a tight schedule, so obviously I couldn’t get it done. Also, a side note, my yelp review was unrecommended, and it seems like all his non-five-star reviews are moved there. Seems shady.

Paolo is great and very friendly. I have been going here for about 2 years now. I was never disappointed. He takes time to understand what you need and does a great work. He is a craftsman in his work. He even recommends new styles and looks that you can try.

Paolo is very slow and very overpriced. He does not show up to appointments on time and is overall an average barber at best. He has no clue how to run a business and it shows. Also has terrible breath when while giving haircuts.
