Dont waste your time!! The owner/ stylist there is a thief!! She sits there bad mouthing other african american establishments such as s7 hair studio in winter garden when her sew in are limp and poorly done. she is very unprofessional and over priced and offered to wax my eyebrows for free when for one i do not think she is a licensed esthetician and she still did a poor job at that too! i’m always trying to promote black business but im finding that im better off going to Miami to get my hair done where people actually have a passion for hair and not on the verge on getting their power shut off looking for a quick buck. if i don’t get my refund…thats fine…maybe the hairstylist can use my 140.00 plus tip for that sorry excuse she called a sew in for a baby sitter for her wild two year old running around the salon unattended burning his fingers in wax and cosmetology courses at a reputable institution.

Funny how things work out – I was going to meet my girlfriend at Panera next door to return a book I borrowed, and was then going to walk-in to Roots salon and see if they had anything available. So, since I figured that I would spend more time at the salon than the 3 minutes inside Panera – I decided to park in one of Roots’ spaces. I got out of my car – and a woman came outside and began to YELL at me and threatened to call the police. I tried to explain that I was going in Panera, and was then going to her establishment, but every time I was explaining WHY I was in her parking spot – she cut me off and did not let me finish. I’m a white gal, maybe not her usual client, – still – SERIOUSLY!!? That is how you are going to treat people? I understand why she was mad, if a bunch of people were parking in her spot and then going into Panera, but at least LISTEN to a person first – you may be taking your day out on a potential new client.
