Best Barber Shop I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to. I like getting the classic circa 1940’s/1950’s slick back “Greaser Cut”,if you will…and Gilbert and/or Chuck definitely give me the absolute perfect haircut every time. 5 Stars to Ron’s Barber Shop!!!!!

I don’t think Ron & Staff (Missy, Gilbert, & others) need any more great reviews! Ron & Staff have been cutting my hair for many years (40+). They are the best around (meaning Western Pa). I’ve tried getting my hair cut numerous times by others around the Pgh, Slippery Rock, & Grove City areas (about 10 – 15 years ago) as I live 1 1/2 hours from Ron’ shop. Ron’s shop (including Gail who is now retired) are superb – the BEST!

Ron is simply the best. I’ve been going to him for 20 years almost and I’ve never had a bad cut. He has a great staff too and a great atmosphere inside. I like it even more after he got rid of his tv as I get to pickup the local paper and read high school sports for a few minutes and just unwind.

Hands-down best haircut experience i’ve had. I’m a 21-year-old male, new to the area, and decided to try this place out. Dilbert (I believe was his name) welcomed me in even ten minutes before closing. He practically narrated his entire haircutting process, making sure I was okay every major step. This man knows how to cut hair. It was also pretty affordable at $12.

Hands down the best bang for buck barber shop in the area. The crew who works there are very friendly and always take their time with each customer. Never again will I go to another franchise barber shop as long as Ron’s is around.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Ron’s ! Such a genuinely kind staff that is happy to greet every customer as they walk in. A perfect little shop to take everyone in the family, to be treated like family. My dad even brought my sisters and I here as kids to get our hair cut ! I told my boyfriend to give this place a try and he’s also been coming here ever since and we plan to bring our son here. It’s like cheers bar, but for haircuts lol I love it. If you dont go for the warm service atleast give it a try for the price, you can’t beat it.

Let me first say, I try to get my hair cut every two weeks. That being said, I moved to Pittsburg about a year ago, and have tried several different shops (6 or7). Personally, I have found Ron’s to be the best. It’s not trendy. They don’t give you a beer while you wait, and there is certainly no techno playing in the background… It’s just a barbershop. They greet you when you walk in, and remember you the second time. As someone who has paid as much as $45 for a haircut in this city, Ron’s $12 price isn’t enough for the job he does. If you try this place, you’ll be back.
