By using healing and relaxing massage I am able to fulfill that passion and connect with people to relieve them of pain and stress. I graduated from the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences in 2001 and I’m also certified in Integrative Reflexology. I have over 20 years of experience working in a variety of atmospheres which have given me unique opportunities to develop and enhance my skills. Swedish Massage
The most traditional type of massage that uses long, fluid strokes to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve your overall well-being. Benefits include: Improve circulation Decrease stress & muscle tension Improve range of motion
Deep Tissue Massage
This type of massage uses a firmer or more sustained amount of pressure to target the deeper layers of tissue, including the muscles, which is very different from the flow of a traditional massage. Benefits include: Helps relieve chronic pain & tension Lowers BP Breaks down scar tissue
Sports Massage
A sports massage is more area-specific, focusing on larger & older knots that built up over longer periods of time due to trauma, poor biomechanics, or muscle imbalance. Benefits include: Help aid the recovery from injury Improve range of motion Reduce muscle and body pain
Prenatal Massage
A nurturing massage using Earthlites Pregnancy & Prone Comfort bolster which allows for a face-down position to provide the ultimate support for pregnancy massage. It has a generous stomach and chest alcove to accommodate any client. Great for clients who don’t want to be laying on their side.
Integrative Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient technique that applies pressure to the feet, hands & ears and is based on a theory that these body parts are connected to certain organs and systems of the body. Integrative Reflexology combines reflexology & massage techniques that creates a balanced state of well being
Cupping Massage
An ancient Chinese method of creating healing in the body through negative pressure by means of suction. The use of silicone cups are used to create a surge of blood flow underneath the cups to an area of disease. This loosens the connective tissue & improves blood flow to help stimulate healing.
Percussive Therapy Massage
This treatment involves a handheld device, called a massage gun or percussion massager, that targets certain areas of the body with gentle pulses of pressure. This action softens muscle tissue in areas where we experience intense stiffness and build up.
Hot Stone Massage
This follows the same principles as Swedish massage, but with the use of heated basalt stones. The heat from the stones help relax the soft tissue & ease muscle tension & discomfort.
