Critical: Quality, ValueI went in to get a pedicure the tech Abby was falling asleep, she didn’t take the time to scrub my feet, my feet and nails look a mess. My pedicure was 45$ and the work looks as if it was free. The nail tech shaped my nails perfectly, but the polish is messy, has bubbles even after I told her she was missing several spots she tried arguing telling me it’s my skin when I know it’s the acrylic that was not polished. If you don’t want to do the job then find another place of work. I went in to get a pedicure the tech Abby was falling asleep, she didn’t take the time to scrub my feet, my feet and nails look a mess. My pedicure was 45$ and the work looks as if it was free. The nail tech shaped my nails perfectly, but the polish is messy, has bubbles even after I told her she was missing several spots she tried arguing telling me it’s my skin when I know it’s the acrylic that was not polished. If you don’t want to do the job then find another place of work. I have posted pictures of both hands.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityIf you’re not local, beware. My friend and I stopped at this salon while on vacation due to a recommendation from our AirBNB host. We both got pedicures, which were fine other than the extremely long wait with no warning of the wait time. I also got a full set with gel polish manicure. The nail tech I had was having a difficult time getting my shape even and not slanted. After her third unsuccessful attempt I asked if I could fix a couple spots quickly. She said sure no problem. Apparently it was a problem for her because when my polish was sealed and cured she grabbed my hand and FILED some of THE EDGES. I left anyway thinking maybe it would be fine. We were there for 2.5 hours already. It was not fine. I returned three days later with lifting polish and after explaining why I was back, the same lady told me to pick a color, which I did. This time I yanked my hands away before she could file the edges after the polish was sealed and cured. Unfortunately she also tried to charge me claiming it was because I chose a different color. I explained had she told me it would be an extra charge i would have had her repolish my nails in the color I originally chose just three days prior. As I was digging through my purse for the money she was demanding, I mentioned informing the local who gave me the recommendation and all of a sudden I didn’t have to pay. It was fine, I could go. We both got pedicures, which were fine other than the extremely long wait with no warning of the wait time. I also got a full set with gel polish manicure.
