Refined Wax Studio strives to give you a pleasurable, comfortable experience while offering a wide-range of services. Services include full-body waxing, lash lifts, brow & lash tinting and our newest service, microblading. Owner, Sarah Evenson, started her waxing career in March 2013, working for a well-known corporate waxing salon. After 5 years, Sarah decided branching off to build her own empire, would be best for her family and travel aspirations. Refined Wax Studio opened its doors on January 22, 2018 in the heart of Raleigh, NC.

The first time I ever got a wax was in 2018, when I was 18 years old. I am now 22 years old. Sarah was the first person to give me a wax and she made my experience so relaxing and comfortable. She is such an amazing and talented person! Sarah is the only person I recommend that does an excellent job. She is quick and efficient. I mainly get Brazilian waxes and she makes sure she gets every bit of hair. I am really grateful to find her.

I went here for a Brazilian wax. This was my first time getting one and I was super nervous but Sarah immediately was able to calm me and distract me from the wax. She is super easy to converse with and I felt very comfortable in her studio. The wax took about 30 minutes but it felt like it went by so much faster! It was way less painful than I expected, and Sarah gave me good aftercare tips. I didn’t have any ingrown hairs and was super happy with my waxing results. Already booked my next appointment and am so happy I found a good wax studio to go to. Definitely recommend!

I’ve gone to Refined Wax Studio for Brazilian waxes in the past and had one scheduled today. I’ve never had a bad experience here! Sarah does a great job making sure it’s not awkward or uncomfortable and is truly skilled at what she does. I went to Refined Wax after some Googling and reading different reviews about services in the area. Having been getting waxed on and off for years I’ve had my fair share of experiences and Sarah was awesome! First, she was so friendly and kind I totally felt at ease when I first met her. The process as also sooo quick too, which is great because I had to scoot back to work after. Not only was she quick, but she did a phenomenal job! I had expressed that I’d had some iffy experiences in the past and Sarah made sure to get me taken care of. This is honestly probably the best wax I’ve had in a hot minute.

I went in for a Brazilian Wax as a first timer and it was an amazing experience. Sarah is amazing! Her level of experience really shines through in her work. She talked me through every step of the process from pre-waxing to aftercare. I love that each time I go in I know who will be doing my wax.
