NEVER GO TO THEM!! They lied and said they could do my hair They had some young girl maybe a child do it. My real hair was sticking out. I had to go back for them to fix it and they Still did it incorrectly. I had to pay full price but bought my own hair. Was told I can only get $30 refund which make no sense. And still didn’t honor that. They never called me back to handle the problem. I had to keep calling. And then THEY CUT MY REAL HAIR!! ID NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

I just love this hair braiding shop. I’ve only gotten my hair braided once by them but when they did do my hair they did an amazing job. Only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I waited for ever b4 I was able to get my hair done. They get a 5 star for quality and price and that what matters to me. will be going back soon

I was not going to leave a negative comment, but after another braid coming out this morning, I felt the need to warn others. I got my hair braided a little over 2 weeks ago and already 6 braids have come out. I can also feel several in the back slipping. The braids in the middle of my hair are huge, and there is hair in a couple places that never made it into a braid.

For the type of style I got, I was expecting to be there for a long time but they had me in and out so quickly! I loveeee my hair! Also, they are very gentle braiders unlike other shops. To start off my girlfriend and I arrived 25 minutes before they opened. The brother that lives there had to open shop because they were late. We both wanted feed in braid, but the lady told me she couldnt do them, so we waited for her co- worker which was 2 hours late just for her to do a rush job on my girls hair. I said forget it and went to Niemans on Troost, they are the best. My girl’s feed in braids were a rush and a waste of money and she braided way to slow. We are NEVER GOING BACK TO 838 MINNESOTA!!! Oh yea and her thread came down the same day smh i posted a pic thats what it looks like after 7 days…
