Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueI normally do not use this nail salon I was in a pickle my Tech was booked 2 weeks out and I broke a nail I came in for a repair fillin and reshape this is what I got side note customer came in didn’t wanna wear mask she wore it around her neck the whole timeThis is the worst nail salon I have ever seen. Not professional at all .. masks were not enforced.. my nails look horrible..I had to go and get them redone!! I really didn’t want to leave this review but please save your time and money. I’ve never in my life had a gel manicure AND pedicure last me only 10 days. They don’t have any color swatches, making it very hard to get an accurate idea of a color. I got dip powder on my nails and she didn’t even use a light to harden it.. so the nails literally looked like they had speckles of powder. Even when I asked she told me this is the normal process.

Critical: ProfessionalismI would have given it 0 stars but that wasn’t an option. My mother has been going to see Maia for years to get her nails done and has always liked her. However, this past week she was counting her money before she walked in to get her nails done and when she went to pay, a hundred dollar bill was missing from her wallet. The only thing she can think of that happened is Maia stole her money when she got up to help fix their TV and was facing away from the nail station. Everyone else was busy doing nails at their station. Maia always complained to my mother how she doesn’t have much money so she whole heartedly believes she stole it. However, this past week she was counting her money before she walked in to get her nails done and when she went to pay, a hundred dollar bill was missing from her wallet. I don’t live in Roanoke but had an errand to run there. I decided to get a manicure while I waited and selected Queen Nails because of their positive reviews. I paid $30 for a gel manicure, expecting 2-3 weeks of pretty nails. The gel started peeling off even before a week was up! Regular nail polish would have lasted as long. Now I have to go somewhere else just to get my ugly nails looking good again. I definitely did not get my money’s worth here.

Usually a great place. Today there was an appointment behind me and the person working on my nails became rushed and very agitated at me when THEY would mess up. Became almost aggressive with handling my nails and was huffing and puffing. We all have bad days but I’ll never go back.
