I’m visiting my husband’s home town and having a blast until I came here. I arrived at 4:40pm was immediately asked how I could be helped and I happily replied just a fill and polish change. There was one woman being serviced and 2 employees that I saw. One had his feet up and relaxing and the other woman was servicing a patron. I was immediately told, after my reply that they had no time for fill in and polish change and that they are an appointment only business and were closing soon but as I’m from out of state I could only rely on the information provided via webs and a phone call where I was told walk ins are welcomed. Apparently not if you’re a black woman. I NEVER pull the race card because I don’t generally walk around assuming everyone is a racist but the tension and disdain were palpable as soon as I walked in. I’ve never felt more unwelcome than I did here. I was pleasant and smiling so i have no idea why i was turned away with varying excuses. I did ask if the closing time was still 6pm and was told yes and I then asked to be sure I was understanding correctly that they didn’t have time for a fill in and polish change and I was told no that they were expecting many patrons in just a few minutes between stammered words. It was excuses because they didn’t want to service me so I left.

I’ve gone in here twice to get my nails done once on a Saturday (they had no openings which makes sense it was the weekend) and once on a Monday. The first time I went in the first thing they asked me is if I’d ever been in there before. I told them no I just moved to the area and they then told me they had no openings (weird they asked me if I had been in there before telling me they had no openings). The second time I came in and asked for a fill and a pedicure. They said they didn’t have time now. I asked about a wait time and they said again they have no openings. Didn’t offer to make me an appointment or anything. Rude, terrible customer service.

Everyone is super nice here, and their pedicures are top-notch! I’ve had mixed experiences with the dip manicure, depending on the mail technician, but overall mostly good. Highly recommend this salon!

As far as the business being clean, I felt that it was. It has plenty of light, & has a conducive atmosphere to relax & be pampered. The body massage while sitting in the chair was great. I felt no threat from being close to any other customers. It was okay to wear a mask, although I would prefer Not to. I did get the impression that the technician was rushing, & that is a turn-off for me, because this should be a relaxing, pampering time, not a rush-through procedure. I was surprised by the $10 price increase! Maybe $5.00, but not $10. If one is being charged $35, I feel they should be in the chair at least 35 minutes. I will definitely look for some place cheaper to go in the future. But, I was glad they opened back up, & hope they can stay open in the future.

Critical: ProfessionalismI was not greeted just told to go to the wall and pick out a color;never asked how I wanted my nails shaped,tech seemed in a hurry and two different people worked on my nails. They only except cash. When I went to pay the guy took my money slammed it into a drawer never counted it.I said there is a tip in there for you, no thank you just walked away from me. Will NEVER go back. Every time I go here, they do an amazing job! We went for my daughters wedding and had scattered appointments but they kept putting us in around their other customers and we were finished perfectly and on time. I would suggest if you were doing a wedding party to schedule a couple of weeks ahead so you can have them all to yourselves. They are such a kind and gentle couple. The prices are perfect for the amazing service.
