I was excited to rent a space here. The lady signed me up for the suite and told me all I needed was my drivers license and esthetician license and to bring that to the village of Alsip and it shouldn’t take anytime to Register for the business license to work in Alsip. When I tell you when I got there that was not all I needed to utilize my suite. They get you signed up here but don’t give you all the information. I called the owner and he told me that getting all the information was my responsibility which I feel was so wrong. So if you want to rent here be aware that the village of Alsip is not helpful, they can be rude and unknowledgeable with the info needed. I have been running around in circle here & other suitemate have said the same thing it was a hassle. It’s a lot of out of pocket costs such as you gotta get a salon/shop registration from the state, pay for Alsip business license plus schedule for the fire department to come inspect your room which I feel this is to much considering this is a room we are renting and not our own store front business. Inspection of the building should be given when the salon first opened up as there is only one entrance and one exit that everyone has to utilize in case of a fire. Overall a lot of money and other township are not like this. So that’s just my take on things here so far.
