I loved my experience with Monica. She took out the time to answer my question over the phone. And she work around my schedule and I got a reminder text about my appointment. And the day of my appointment. When you walk through the door you feel special and she focused on me. Getting a Groupon I just knew it was going to be a long wait and a problem. But it was the most pleasant experience. She washed my hair and it was so relaxing. She braided my hair and I am so tender headed and for the first time in my life it didn’t hurt. I will be back and I would recommend that you go to Monica if you have thin hair and you want good service and you want some one that cares about your hair. Thank you so much !!!

I had just flown into the Lou for a reunion and was in need of a quick weave repair done by another stylist in VA the day before. I called the shop, and the owner had a very small window of availability to fix my hair. Monica fixed the lifting and reshaped the weave, which made the style more attractive. I’m so appreciative for the extra time she took to accommodate my hair emergency. I will definitely book my appointment at Poise for the next time I’m in town

I have had to update my review from 4 stars to 1. I booked an appointment over the phone with no warning of the consequences of missing it. I missed it. Since then, the owner Monet has asked me to book my appointments online with a credit card. When I do, she cancels them. Weird.
