Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI would not recommend this place to anyone!!!! Please if you a have a child with healthy full natural hair …( 4c, 4b hair type) do not bring them here!! I scheduled an appointment to have my daughters get feed in braids at this salon and the owner reassured me that she could complete this style on both of my daughters’ hair including a wash and blow dry. As soon as I got to the salon the first thing I was told was that oh my gosh my daughters hair was too thick and that she would not recommend doing feed in braids to my daughters’ hair. I told her that they have gotten feed braids several times at other salons with no problem. The owner and the stylist told me oh their hair is too much !!! I started to get confused because this is supposed to be a natural hair salon for natural hair. The stylist began to complain about how thick my daughters’ hair was as she began to comb through it. They did not even know how to blow dry natural hair. My daughter began to cry as they were going through her hair. I saw that the stylist was getting frustrated, so therefore I was very concerned. She looked like she was about to give up on my child’s hair. I then I had to get the blow dryer from her and started blow drying my own child’s hair in their salon . I had to teach the hair stylist how to blow dry my child’s hair. This was the worse experience ever !!! They never completed my child’s hair at all . The owner ended up charging me $50 for their hair. Please do not bring your child here to do their hair!!! They are very unprofessional and not experienced with natural hair. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI love Winnie and Melissa. They have me laughing every time I go in there. Their place is very clean! Winnie is great with my daughter’s hair. I think her hair has even grown and gotten thicker since I have been taking her there. Anyone I have taken my daughter to before was really rough on her hair but Winnie has been very great with her and takes her time and is very gentle with her. I love Winnie and Melissa. They have me laughing every time I go in there. Their place is very clean! Winnie is great with my daughter’s hair. I think her hair has even grown and gotten thicker since I have been taking her there. Using another person account to post this! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! The owner pretends to be a nice person but really she is not. I have been there three times, the first encounter I had was with the price. I realize she states one price and then when you get to the registers she always up the price to what she wants to charge. I pulled an item off her shelf that was $6 got to the registered and she entered $11 on her computer. The second time I went there she did the same thing; told me one price on the phone. Then charge $20 over that original price.. totally dishonest. I still kept giving her chances, cause I thought maybe it was just me. The third time I went to salon, I arrived at the time I was suppose to get my hair done, call the owner and she try to cancel on me. While I was standing in front of the shop. She decided ok, she’ll show up to do my hair that day since I couldn’t reschedule. She did my hair and a few days later I noticed it wasn’t done the same as when I first went there. Hair unraveling, shedding, loose pieces. Instead of compliments, folks saying “wow it look like you had that a month ago”. Call the owner to have the hair looked at, she insisted she will do something about it. When I text, she always say “I will call you later” but nothing. When I call she would say the same thing but nothing. After about 10 attempts I realize she was using one of her disgusting tactics in hopes that I would give up on contacting her. Please do not go to this shop, spend your money at a trustworthy place. Oh the second time I went there, I had to wait 30mins for her to show up. So that’s 2 times late out of 3 appointments. Just not worth the stress!!

Winnie is the bomb! I called for an appointment & she took me right in. I love my hair! she was very professional & great personality. This is the first time I’ve ever had my hair braided & the stylist was gentle she definitely is the best in town! Can’t wait to go back!!

Took my daughter back for her to fix it and it took as long as the original style. My husband then takes my daughter back today to get a new style. Do you know this woman had the nerve to call me on the phone and tell me what she was not doing to my child’s hair. I have never in my whole 40 years of living has someone do this. It was so disrespectful I couldn’t believe it. If these are the types of people they have working there. I will happily go somewhere else. hair. Then argued with me on the phone.
