Upon walking in, the front desk ladies were very nice and welcoming. The salon is super nice and clean. My daughter was serviced by Hilda DiTusa. Hilda is so sweet and personable. My daughter felt instantly comfortable with her. Hilda did an amazing job with her hair. It made my daughter so happy. Highly recommend Hilda and Pavlova Salon!!

Critical: Quality, ValueWent in on a Saturday morning and spent 3hrs there to have haircut/highlights/balayage and lowlights done and came out very muddy and uneven looking. You could barely see the highlights. I called salon and told them I wasn’t happy with the result so they said to come back and they would fix it. The owner spoke with me and apologized and had different stylist work on me to correct it. However, it came out far worse than what the previous stylist did. Hair came out looking black and streaky/striped looking. All I wanted was highlights and lowlights and got exactly the opposite look. I don’t mind spending money but I spent over $300 and it looked horrendous. I wasn’t giving them a 3rd try. It’s obvious that the 2 stylists that did my hair did want they wanted to do. I wasn’t looking to be Gothic. I’m a professional and was embarrassed of how terrible my hair looked. Had to go to another salon to fix it. Came out amazing and found my new salon. So lucky I was able to get it corrected without damaging my hair. Stay away from this place. Complete waste of TIME and money. Half these girls are just out of beauty school and lack experience and taste. We brought our daughter there to get blue highlights, she’s only just shy of 10 and from the minute we got in everyone was so nice and gracious. The process took some time but with anything that you want a good result it’s understandable. Caitlyn hope im spelling her name correctly was absolutely amazing from start to finish and all the other employees looked like the were pros all the way. Would highly recommend this place.

This was my first time coming to Pavalova (East) and it was absolutely one of my best experiences I’ve ever had at a hair salon. I had Brittany who did miracles on lightning my previously dyed red hair. Brittany specializes in balayage and blonding which made me feel really confident in her work. She is truly a talented stylist and colorist. I showed her what I was trying to achieve through looking at her instagram account @hairbybrittanyburkhardt. Having her portfolio of different clients she’s done in the past so assessable made communicating that much easier. Definitely recommend Pavlova and Brittany!!!!!!

This hair salon is the worse. The first time I went there I showed them a picture of the hair color I wanted, obviously I know blonde takes a while to achieve. I’ve had platinum blonde hair before. My hair easily lifted and was blonde enough the first try, but the hair stylist Megan felt the need to change it by adding brown to the hair and changed the blonde into a dark brown, almost the color of my real hair color when I first walked in. I figured instead of quickly deciding to not go back there and leaving a bad review on here, I’d give them a chance to fix it by going back again and having a different stylist work on it. The other stylist Danielle made the hair a little brighter than the last time when the first stylist ruined it. But after goin there a few more times hoping she’d help me achieve the color I wanted, she did nothing else but having me come in so that she can add glaze to the hair which washes off after couple of washes. Trying to change orange/yellow look from a hair doesn’t help by adding temporary glaze, you need bleach to change the orange/yellow from it, but they think they’ll keep getting $390 from me every month by having me come in for temporary glaze on my hair. Then after telling them the glaze doesn’t fix orange/yellow in hair, they told me I have to have more temporary glaze for a few more weeks. This place was a complete waste of my time and money. An absolute disappointment. Do yourselves a favor and spend your money somewhere else.
