I originally tried Palm Beach tan for the first time to get a spray tan for an event coming up that weekend. I wasn’t super happy with the wear and longevity of the tan after paying for the extra solutions to maintain the tan, so I left some feedback in a survey they sent following the service. The manager Dustin gave me a call asking about my experience and offered a corrective service trying a different tanning booth/solution. My birthday was coming up the next weekend, so the timing worked out perfect to try Palm Beach again. I was super satisfied with the alternative booth’s result, and I loved my tan! Huge thank you to Dustin for great customer service and I would recommend the Versa tanning booth for a quick tan that lasted me 7 full days.

I was a loyal customer of PBT for the last 9 years. I recently canceled my membership. The salon atmosphere has completely changed for the worst. The Sugar House location has the worst management & staff. Customer service doesn’t exist anymore. Customers are there to serve employees. You no longer matter as long as they can get people to work. It’s despicable how they treat people and I wouldn’t tan there again if they paid me.

Mikaela and kaitlyn were sooo impressive, positive and upbeat. They were prompt, efficient, and I have never seen the salon so clean. They both have a cheery attitude and even though I was considering canceling my membership, I really was impressed with their behavior and professionalism so I decided to continue my extended stay with your company. I will be back to see them and buy some products that were recommended. Excellent sales persons with beautiful happy smiles that totally changed my day.. literally No other palm beach has served me this well. Absolutely deserve a raise and some recognition! I went twice within two weeks to get a spray tan. The first time I got a sun kissed color like a medium spray that lasted 3 days at the most. $40. The second spray I wanted to go darker secretly hoping it would last longer. My arms turned out significantly lighter than the rest of my body and although it lasted 5 days, 2 longer than the previous, it didn’t give me a darker brown color but sun kissed at the most. It felt like a waste of money in the end. Another $40. So, idk. I didn’t shower for 36 hours either after both sprays. Customer Service both times was great. Girls and guy were friendly. I think $40 is waaayyyyy to much for that. I would think $25 at the most.

This was my first and last tanning bed experience for my life. I called three weeks ago asking questions about how to use the tanning beds and how it all works. One of my questions was “Will I look tan after one session?” the lady on the phone said “yes, you should look tan after one session” so I just planned on one session before my trip to Cabo this Sunday. I get there and the employees were friendly. The woman helping me rushed me through how to work the tanning bed and forget to mention that I only had 6 MINUTES to get ready, so I spent my time (15 minutes) putting the lotion. When I was ready and tried to turn on the bed it didn’t work, so I redressed and got an employee. They stated there that I only had 6 minutes to get ready (which isn’t enough time btw) to get ready, I stated “I didn’t know” and he called me a liar stating I used the bed and was trying to get a free tan. I wasn’t lying! The towel and glasses were still in the same place they were when I got there! Thankfully I was allowed in one of the other beds to tan but I didn’t know how those worked and the employees weren’t helping me so I just got in and wished for the best. In my mind when I got out I would look tan, but to my surprise when the 5 minutes was up I was still pasty (the lady on the phone stated one session made me tan so another lie). A lesson I learned from this experience is to never use tanning salons again and that I’ll just look pasty the rest of my life. Thanks for the life lesson and for wasting my money Palm Beach Tan 🙂

Absolute worst tanning experience in SLC. I have gotten sprays at several other businesses and I know how to take care of my tans. I paid for the longer lasting spray and I followed all the protocol (not showering for at least 24 hrs and so on). It came off in two days. Tanning
