Haven’t used my membership since June. You can freeze an account over the phone but they don’t let you cancel your membership over the phone. A freeze still cost 8 bucks a month to hold your place. The business needs a lesson in caring for customer’s needs instead of trying to sell expensive lotion and goggles everything you visit. Ridiculous. Then they have rules to where you can only get in certain alloted time if you miss 3 weeks. I’ve been tanning longer than they have been adults.

Worse salon ever. I understand salons have there rules but I’m so dark, darker than the worker behind the counter. But if on your first visit and you can only lay in a bed for half the time of the full time, I think that your first time guest are eligible for half the price for half the time of the full time. Don’t go here if you agree with me. And Palm Beach Tan you will loose most of your first time customers because of this. I was not impressed by what you offered your first time customers. I’m just here with everyone to alert people of the shady practices of these salons. It’s not necessarily the young gals behind the desk but some type of training is needed to advise people of what they’re really signing up for. This 24 hr rule is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been tanning for over 20 years and have never been to a salon with such an asanine rule. We have 1 car and I only tan on weekends. I may not be able to get in until 4 or 5 on Saturday so the fact that I can’t come back until that time on Sunday is ludacris. Shame on you for not being up front when people sign up. And of course when I tried to cancel they wouldn’t give me a refund even though it had only been 7 days since I signed up and the contract says I have 30 days to decide if I want to stay… seriously shady

While I was outta town I decided to go for a visit since I regularly tan in my hometown which is only a 30 minute drive away however your first visit can only get in for 10 minutes and I was informed that if I returned then I could then do 20 minutes. The one visit with eyewear and purchased a sample package of tanning lotion was going to be $47 something however a month was only $58 therefore I opted for the month. Today being a week later I was finally able to return and when asked how long I informed the girl that I wanted 20mins then she proceeded to go into a spill about working my time up. I know my body and skin I informed her that I’ve been tanning and I wanted 20 minutes rather than giving me what I’ve paid for she chose to dismiss me and put the bed on 12 minutes when I realized this of course I had to stop the bed and inform her that I requested 20 then she tells me she’s already started the bed as if it were too late. I requested to speak to the owner and was provided corporates number…. If you’re new to tanning this be the perfect place however I’m not new to tanning and I feel disrespected, lied to and cheated. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TANNING SALON TO ANYONE

They charge a $20 “start up” fee on top of the first months membership… okay fine… they also charge almost double if you want to pay in cash vs putting a card on file… okay fine here’s my card… they’re not offering tours right now so no clue what kind of shape the building and equipment is in… okay fine… here’s the kicker they follow a STRICT 24 hour between visits guideline. Not a once a day guideline. Tanned on a Friday after work at 6:30 ish tried to tan Saturday after work around 5:30 and I was told I have to come back and tan after 6:30 because it hadn’t been a FULL 24 hours. The employee conveniently “forgot” to disclose this piece of information when I bought the membership. They refused to refund my money on site had to call “corporate” who would only give me back $14 of the $47 I paid because I tanned 3 times…. even though they have a 30 day 100% money back guarantee. I typically love this salon. I’ve been visiting here for a year during my lunch break. However today I went in for my usual visit and a different girl was behind the counter. I was denied a visit because it had not been 24 hours since my last visit… I was 50 minutes early. Less than an hour difference and I was denied services that I pay for each month. I’m sure that my visits have been short of the 24 hours before because I’ve never been told this rule and my visit times usually vary between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., yet I have never been denied services before. I understand the rule of one visit per day completely, but this managing the amount of MINUTES between your visits on two different is ridiculous.
