Rachel – the tall blond – at this salon is a miracle worker !! She took my short hair and went with me to the place to buy the extensions so I felt comfortable , and she than dyed it all to match – which is hard with my color – and she did an amazing job with highlights . THAN she feathered the whole thing together in the front and back so it would be like I just walked off a movie set !! its AMAZING and women just want to touch it, they are amazed at how beautiful the job was that she did . I am sooooooo grateful for her patience and the time she took to help me. She also let me come back the next week to do some fine tuning for no charge with moving things around and a little more blond hints. WOW great customer service !!

I wanted to find a hair stylist in Bakersfield that specializes in platinum blonde so I called and asked for a reference.The stylist they referred me to did not value my time and passed me off like I wasn’t good enough for her. I called the salon again asking if they knew someone else, which resulted in no results. Then I called a third time the next day and asked if they could recommend a stylist who would actually respond to my text and calls.The lady at the front desk said she would contact the stylists and see who would respond. At the end of that day, I received a voicemail saying that no one had responded. To me that shows that this place is filled with stylists who are unprofessional and disrespectful. Don’t go to hairdresser, Shelly Guess. Not only does she schedule 5 people in one sitting, her assistant does almost all the work of the service. Half the time I walk out of the salon with my hair wet. The experience became so uncomfortable, I discontinued going to her. She is only focused on making money rather than caring for her clients. I will never ever recommend her to anyone and I will definitely share on social media not to go to Opulent Salon.

I’ve been here twice now. Both times the ladies that work there all seemed very professional. The girl who does my hair is Whitney and she’s awesome! Everywhere else i’ve ever been has taken anywhere from four and a half to six hours to do my hair, and she does it in two! And she does a better job at it. Great environment, relaxing music. I’ll be back for sure!

A week ago I did my hair with a lady name katerlyn which she did my hair horrible! Everything. What I ask her not to do .. she did. I called her if she can fix her mistake which she said she was going to gave me a call back in 45mins to check her schedule book. I never received anything back with her. So I ended up going to a different place which they did a awesome job. I will never go back to that place my hair was orange/goldish when I ask for blonde. I just don’t think it was Fair for me to pay double.

Had a Massage with Jennifer. She is fantastic. I felt very comfortable with her and the massage was amazing. I felt so relaxed and still feel relaxed. The spa itself is also very nice. I would definitely recommend Jennifer for massages to those looking. The spa has a relaxing atmosphere.
