I found her on instagram and instantly liked her work. When I showed up she instantly started working and it took four hours like she promised. I got individual crochet faux locs. If you go on her website she has a lot of information on how she does he Hair. During the appointment she was very informative with any questions that I had and told me how to maintain the locs. It did not hurt and mines were very light weight. I forgot to mention to her that I wanted a color dread.. She didn’t have the proper hair but made it happen with string. She’s really nice and good at what she does. Just like any other hairstyle it’s not gonna stay the same as if you just got it done … It’s up to you to maintain the hairstyle. I’d definitely go back, money well spent

Update Butterfly Braids has a Groupon special that I purchased. I make my appointment confirmed with the owner via social media. When I arrived she never opened the door, she did not respond to my phone calls,and she did not respond to my messages on Instagram. Groupon gave me a refund after I contacted them informing them I am outside of her business waiting to get my hair styled. I never received any form of communication as I waiting for an hour outside her business which is her home. This was supposed to be my second visit.

I wanted to share my story with everyone in hopes that no one has to experience what I did. I spent $375 on goddess locks on Friday and by Sunday, 48 hours later, nearly every one of my locs began unraveling, swelling and the loose curls were falling out. There’s no reason that within two days my hair looked as it did. I have included pictures displaying her work. I’m unable to provide videos on this platform or that would have also been uploaded.

I cannot rate the quality of her work, but the owner really needs to up their professionalism. After Months of back and forth to pick a date,I leave a deposit for a date the owner said she was available — no response, and then the deposit is returned. After reading the reviews, seems I’m lucky to even get my deposit back. I wish her well and hope these are just hiccups. My only advice is, a little customer courtesy goes a long way.

Yes she gave me beads and braids I was dying for that Bo Derrick look and she nailed it ***** she has like these exotic beads I looked everywhere for them and she had them!!! I love this chick she’s young but she is like so smart I always ask her a billion questions and she just loves to help I feel like she genuinly wants me to have long healthy hair … abd that’s why i keep coming back.. no more headaches
