Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have been seeing Ellie, at New Leaf Salon, for the past few few months, and can confidently say I will never let anyone, but her do my brows!I am very picky about how I like them done-Not only did Ellie listen to the things I liked and disliked about my brow shape, she offered suggestions and feedback. I left, having received the best wax I’ve ever had- feeling pampered and taken care of!Ellie’s warm and kind attitude makes you feel immediately at ease. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have been getting my hair cut, colored, permed, highlighted, and styled by Donna (the owner) for well over 30years. I started out with her in a salon in Worcester in 1988 when I lived in Central MA. I have lived back on the Cape fot 20 years and have traveled (gladly!!) up to Northboro every 7-8weeks or so to get my hair done by her because, Donna is simply the best. She & her husband Derek operate a top notch, class A salon. The staff are very well trained, everyone is incredibly pleasant & accommodating. I trust Donna and her staff implicitly, whether it is someone else putting on my color, an eyebrow wax or checking me out at the desk. I always tell Donna to do what she wants and what she thinks best with my hair and I have NEVER been disappointed. I am so grateful to be her client and have angst thinking about the day she will eventually retire!! I have been getting my hair cut, colored, permed, highlighted, and styled by Donna (the owner) for well over 30years. I started out with her in a salon in Worcester in 1988 when I lived in Central MA. I have lived back on the Cape fot 20 years and have traveled (gladly!!) up to Northboro every 7-8weeks or so to get my hair done by her because, Donna is simply the best. Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI have been coming to Sara at New Leaf Salon for about 8 years now. Before finding New Leaf I actually dreaded getting my hair done. I could never find anyone who could or would take the time to understand my hair before just doing what they thought was best. One of the things I truly appreciate about Sara and the environment in the salon is their approach to complete client satisfaction. While in the salon you might overhear the stylists partnering with each other, calling in a second opinion, to make sure that their client gets the exact results desired. They really know their craft inside and out. I have not once left unhappy or disappointed.I’m shocked to read the most recent review where the salon is dragged for a terrible experience lasting 6 or so years? What strikes me as odd about this review is why would you continue going somewhere that you say doesn’t meet your experience. Doesn’t seem to me that it was salon that was the constant issue ..As for the front desk team they are also part of why I will continue to drive an hour to get my hair done at NLS. In such a strange and overwhelming time in the world I appreciate the steps that they have taken to ensure customer safety. I appreciate the opportunity to wait in the car while my stylist sanitizes the work station. I probably would have called from the parking lot to check in versus waiting 45 minutes and leaving however, I have waited no more than 5 or so minutes before being called up.Moral of the story, New Leaf Salon is the place if you’re looking to for great results and a relaxing environment where you are welcomed back each time you return .. which you will, because it can’t be beat!I have been coming to Sara at New Leaf Salon for about 8 years now. I have been coming to Sara at New Leaf Salon for about 8 years now. Before finding New Leaf I actually dreaded getting my hair done. I could never find anyone who could or would take the time to understand my hair before just doing what they thought was best. One of the things I truly appreciate about Sara and the environment in the salon is their approach to complete client satisfaction. Unacceptable. I saw New Leaf and gave them a call. The appointment was great! Lizabeth was prompt, clear explanations and NO upfront payments. And best of all, the treatment costs half of what the others charge!! The spa is very clean, beautifully decorated and the staff are very attentive!! I was looking for laser tattoo removal and called two other businesses, both wanted $2900-$3000 upfront for 8 appointments. Unacceptable. I saw New Leaf and gave them a call. The appointment was great! Lizabeth was prompt, clear explanations and NO upfront payments. And best of all, the treatment costs half of what the others charge!! The spa is very clean, beautifully decorated and the staff are very attentive!! Thanks New Leaf!!

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been been a client to New Leaf Salon for over 6 years. In October I decided to get hair extensions and had a consultation to choose hair colors. I had a bunch of pictures to show to give ideas of color I wanted. $600 for the hair and over $400 to have them put in, I hated the color of the extensions. They were not close to the pictures I showed or the hair samples I was shown. 2 days later the extensions started to fall out. I went back to have them fixed and Donna, the owner, told me I was using the wrong products which caused them to fall out. She didn’t ask me what products I used which if she did she would have found out I used the products I was given by the salon. Donna never apologized either. This happened at least 4 more times where I had to return to the salon to have them put back in. At this point I wanted them removed. I asked for my money back but they said they would not give it to me and that I paid for the hair. I thought they would at least stand behind the hair and do the right thing and refund my money. Derek, Donna’s husband offered to give me half of the service cost back. I am not going to negotiate and told him I expected the full amount refunded.I continued to go here despite knowing that the owners clearly didn’t care about me as a client or my experience.When the salon was closed down during covid-19 they offered root touch up kits to their clients. I called to say I wanted to purchase one and I had to call 5 times before someone even returned my call.When they reopened clients were told to stay in the car and the salon would call you once your stylist was ready. After waiting for 45 minutes in the car for an appointment, I left. I understand they need time to clean in between or my stylist could have been running late but no one called me to say that. When I got home I had an email saying I missed my appointment. I called the salon and told them I was there and the receptionist said they didn’t know I was. Well if someone called me they would have known I was there.My next appointment I waited for 30 minutes in my car. The salon should be courteous to their clients and let them know when your stylist is running late. If I was that late for an appointment at the salon they would need to reschedule my appointment.I have given this salon so too many chances and I am done.There are so many other business owners you will appreciate my business.I have been been a client to New Leaf Salon for over 6 years. The blowout was beautiful and the de-mineral treatment really helped with all the hard water build up from the Shrewsbury water. Thanks, Lauren! Highly recommend.Service: Hairstyling
