lauren is literally the best hairdresser in town for curly hair. she’s done so much of her own personal research that isn’t taught in beauty school, and knows how to make curls look defined and bouncy. no hate to other salons in Truckee, but most of them only know how to work with straight hair, which has always left me with frizzy uneven curls after washing out the blowout, but the haircut lauren gave me lets the curls form themselves beautifully without even using heat

Kimberly has been doing my hair for years, she is the only stylists I will use! She’s a brilliant colorist and is always honest about the process! I have dark hair and I always go light then dark. When I take it light again and bring her pictures she’s honest about how long it will take to get me exactly where I want it! The Salon is beautiful the girls are great and my hairs always perfect. I previously colored my hair with a different stylist from a different studio back in June, and since then I’ve lost all my confidence due to the color being so uneven. However, yesterday Kimberly helped me gain it all back! I had about 2.5 ft of hair that was very uneven and gross looking, so I went in for a hair cut and we ended up cutting about 1-1.5 off and I couldn’t be happier. I have a lot more confidence in myself, and I’ve received a ton of compliments since yesterday. Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful again Kimberly! I’ll definitely be back to see you for that color correction in a few weeks!

I went to Neve for the first time today, Kim did my hair and I am absolutely in love with it! I have been trying to get to a certain shade of blonde for quite sometime, and Kim got me there! I have never once cried happy tears, but today I’m happy to say I did when I saw my colored/styled hair. Not only is Kim an extremely talented stylist, but the atmosphere at Neve you just can’t beat anywhere in Truckee. The parking is easy, the view is gorgeous, and the salon is bright and cheery. Absolutely LOVE Kimberly! Both my daughter and I go to her and she is an incredible color specialist and stylist! My daughter brought in a pinterest picture of how she wanted her hair, which was an ombre pink/purple color and she literally made it a perfect match to the photo!
