On my last visit, the staff member started clipping his own nails and then proceeded to use the same nail clippers on me. I also noticed that this salon does not use sterilized equipment anymore. Don’t bother making an appointment, they will still put you in the water until it turns cold. Made an appointment for a child’s mani/pedi and adult. We still waited 30 mins without anyone checking on us. Left after that, this place use to be amazing when I was in college. Wouldn’t recommend.

If I could leave 0 stars as an option, I would. Initially, when I sat down, one person told me it’ll be $30 for gel nails. But once the actual nail tech got started, she told me it would be $75. I assumed the $75 would be for nails and toes bc I got my toes done as well (even tho I’ve NEVER paid $75 for a full set and toes) . But once I went to checkout she told me it would be a total of $90. They charged me $30 for gel polish, another $20 for a med. set they considered “long” (when it was really med length) and they charged another $25 for “shaping” when my nails weren’t shaped at all. Their work looked NOTHING like the pics I showed them. So why even ask for pics and desired shaping when you know you can’t execute? Why was i charged?!? The entire experience was extremely long and upsetting. It also wasn’t my first time going there. But the pricing was new to me and they don’t provide you with an accurate price list, only estimates. Why not give ppl a complete total when they ask about cost? Why mislead ppl? That’s extremely manipulating and bad for business. If I would’ve known they were charging me $25 for shaping and another $20 for med length nails that were considered “long” I would’ve made a big deal about it. But I took a different route bc I didn’t have time for the police to be called. Due to the horrible service, that would’ve been the only solution. I’m currently home trying to fix this disaster when I shouldn’t have to. I paid them $90 and my nails look hideous. I don’t usually get my nails done in Starkville and I should’ve kept it that way. Wouldn’t recommend, PLEASE go elsewhere

They are getting over on people when there is no need for that. They are extremely high in price compared to places like Happy Nails right there in Starkville who offer amazing work at half the price. $60 for a regular pedicure? $120 for a medium set of nails with a basic design? I went on invitation by a loved one but when I am the one treating we are going to Happy where I can be happy about the price.

The staff has always been friendly and there was only one time that I did not like how my nails were done, but I wasn’t too upset about it. However, today my 17 year old daughter went to nd nails for her birthday and they charged her $60 for acrylic nails. They stated that the reason was because the nails were long, but they were the same length that she and I have had in the past for $20 less. The staff has always been friendly and there was only one time that I did not like how my nails were done, but I wasn’t too upset about it. They are very thick and not cleaned at all. The station is dirty and had shaving from the last client still on the counter. The station is dirty and had shaving from the last client still on the counter. Very friendly staff and great prices. They do not take appointments, so if it’s going to be a busy day (Friday and Saturday mornings/afternoons) go when they first open! They have at least 8 tables going all day. They don’t speak much, so if you are wanting to chat while you’re getting your toes scrubbed or your nails polished, this isn’t the place for you. I love it!
