The place itself is nice and the people were friendly but sadly received the worst haircut of my life here. It’s about 4 inches shorter than discussed and is extremely choppy – looks like a bad bull cut or Willy Wonka hair. I wish I could go somewhere to fix is but it’s so short I don’t think there’s much hope. The highlights are nice, but terrible cut. Will be wearing it clipped back until it grows out.

Critical: ProfessionalismQuite a few months ago I was able to get an appointment with Rebecca Moore for a curly girl cut. She did a fabulous job on the cut and I planned to return when I needed it cut again. I also learned a lot of new tricks for curly hair that I had not heard of before. Well, I called months ago to try to make another appointment. I left a message on the salons answering machine. No call back…. I called again. I left a written message with the receptionist. No call back…. I waited weeks and decided to try again. I called again about 2 weeks ago and left a written message yet again. I explained that I have already left multiple messages and have never heard back. The receptionist assured me she would get the message to Becky and that she is the best person to make an appointment with because she knows her schedule best. I also at this point asked for a reference for someone else I could make an appointment with that did curly hair and was told by the receptionist that they preferred Becky to give me a reference if she is unable to accommodate. Yet again… No call back. There is no reason I would have been fired as a client that I can think of and I tip very well. At this point, Rebecca more has lost a client and I will also never go to Native Salon again. I understand they are busy but to never receive a call back across months is unprofessional and shows lack of character and respect. The place may be able to do well with hair but lacks in personality severely. If I could give no stars I would. I took my daughter for her first hair cut and the girl destroyed 4 years of growth. This place claims to be deva curl certified, it’s only because they sell one of the deva curl products. If you have curly or coily hair do not step foot in this place. The girl that ruined my daughters hair was more concerned with get to the beach to get drunk. She washed her hair and cut it wet! Never cut curly hair wet. She didn’t even listen when she was told to take off less than an inch. She took four or more! This is the WORST place to get your hair done!

And after talking of options, I let her do what she thought was best for me, my hair type and life style. She did an excellent job. We cut 4″? off, which was needed and I love the color! Critical: ProfessionalismI never write reviews but I’m very upset and unhappy with the way it was handled and the outcome of the hair.I work in the service & hospitality industry so I hate review an establishment over one of its employees with out giving the owner a chance to make it right.The stylist was apologetic, however that doesn’t change the amount of money I spent on my hair.I bought brand new extensions (bellami) in a blonde color. She didn’t do a test strip on the hair, bleached them 2-3 times and completely fried the extensions and on top of that colored / fried / over toned my natural hair..So not only did I pay to have my hair damaged she also destroyed brand new bellami hair extensions.I’ve emailed the salon, attempted to call and speak to a manager and I’ve sent a direct message to the business on Instagram with no response.Services: Hairstyling, Hair extensionsI never write reviews but I’m very upset and unhappy with the way it was handled and the outcome of the hair.I work in the service & hospitality industry so I hate review an establishment …More
