First time is this place and I was very welcome there. The nail tech was very nice. The only complaint was the fact they didn’t put lotion on my hands. But im not gonna do this a big deal I’m still going to give 4 stars because the people there is very polite and nice totally different from the other places that I was before.

The entire staff has always been so friendly and welcoming. The salon is very modernized and clean. I don’t want to get my nails done anywhere else. Shoutout to their nail tech Christina for always making my nails look so beautiful with all the designs she can do! I’m always getting compliments on them! First time at this nail salon. Had a mani/pedi. An older lady started my pedicure. I wasn’t pleased as she was unsure of how to do a pedicure (I don’t believe she was a trained licensed nail technician) so that concerned me right off. I was trying to explain how I wanted my nails but she just kept saying “she will fix later”. “She”meaning the nail technician (?owner Lani) that I made the appt with. When Lani came to “complete” or “fix” …actually finish the pedicure I still wasn’t happy with the end product. She also did my manicure and again a quick “rush” job. One coat of the nail polish (french) and one coat clear on top of that. The next day chipping and peeling off. Will not return. Wasted $70+. I never had a manicure/pedicure where the polish wore off or chipped the very next day. Poor application and service. Very unfortunate.

I’ve been regularly visiting this small hidden gem monthly for about a year now. At the time I found this place, the location had just changed hands several months prior (early 2019). The new proprietress Len, has since renovated the interior of the shop. She and her team are great people who always do their best to provide good service and do their best to make things right in the event that one is unhappy with the service. The atmosphere is typically jovial and friendly while the team of technicians concentrates on your service of choice. I personally request for Len Or Lin (her sister) and regularly get a powder-dip manicure there. It usually lasts 3-4 weeks and would probably last even longer but my nails grow out too much for me to wait to find out by then. They do get busy on the weekends so be sure to schedule an appointment if you do not want to wait or call to get an idea of wait times prior to showing up.

This place is overdue for a great review! I have been coming here for years. Everyone here is super nice and welcoming. They are almost always busy and for a reason. They are wonderful. Do not be fooled by the fancier “Modern Nail Lounge & Spa” that popped up not too long ago in the same shopping center. I have been to both and the difference is night and day. I usually come to the Nail Center to get waxed. Lan, who usually sees me, is kind, caring, quick, efficient and does a great job. She doesn’t miss hairs and doesn’t leave you with sticky wax to take home with you. She immediately noticed that my skin is sensitive and offered to put vaseline on my eyebrows to help cool them down. When I dropped in today to get my eyebrows and legs waxed they were really busy so she offered to take me later, when they could fit me in. (I hadn’t bothered to make an appointment). Lan ended up staying late, past their closing time, just to be able to finish working with me. I hope they all know how much I appreciate this place!

I have been getting my nails, eyebrows and pedicures by Lan and her family since they first opened up. They are always professional and friendly and never ever discriminate. If you ever have an issue with any of their services feel free to talk with Lan she will make it right. I love going there and i feel they are the best nail salon in Maryland…Thank you Lan and i will see you next month after i make an appointment LOL
