I haven’t had my nails done in quite a few years. I called around a few places near 23 and Gratiot. Two were quite expensive and booked completely. I figured I would take a chance on this place. I got a full set of gels with shellac two colors for $40. It’s been a full week and they are still going strong polishing all. wanted to wait before I made this post. Now the only reason I’m giving four stars is because the lady that did my nails was quite rude and didn’t bother to thank me when I gave her a 40% tip. She also cut my cuticle with the tool. It would also have been helpful to let me know that there was a cash only policy for tips when I called, and that they prefer cash payments and offer discounts. All in all I got a beautiful set of nails and will be back for the price and product quality.

I went in there last night to get a full set and I normally get glow in the dark acrylic or the colored acrylic. This was my first time at this salon. I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to get started which is fine I was walk in. I had to have the lady put acrylic all the way up to my cuticle because I would have had to come back in a week to get them filled from how far she was going down for my cuticle. And then she didn’t tell me how much it was going to be I got six black nails and four green glow in the dark nails and she charged me $68 without any nail art or anything on them. Then I’m looking at them and there’s deformities in multiple of my nails where it’s not all the way up to my cuticle evenly and a couple of my nails are fat at the ends of my nails where she didn’t shape them properly. It’s a good thing I had the money in my bank account because she didn’t say anything about how much it was going to be before I started. I know that the color acrylic is a little more expensive but I was thinking like 40 to 50 not 68. I will not be going back there.

Positive: Quality, ValueAmazing! I saw Sophia and will only go to her from now on! They automatically include hot stones in their pedicures. I got a full set and a pedicure and it was under $100 and still looks absolutely perfect! So impressed and will be going here from now on.Services: Acrylic nails, Pedicure

After 5 days, 3 of my nails started lifting. I live in a different state, but was in the area for business. Nail techs sped through everything, even working on multiple clients at the same time. $50 for a dip manicure should definitely last much longer than it did. Also asked for a simple Mickey head and that didn’t last either. All employees were literally standing around with their coats on waiting for my tech to finish. So unprofessional.

I wonder if they make up prices. They are way over-priced. Full set and polish $80?? No design nothing. I guess they charge for length. These 2 weeks old.

Not to be rude but this has to be the worst full sets and pedicures I have ever had, the massage was nice but the paint job is terrible. The lady did what she wanted and not what I asked. My nails are wide, and I asked several times for her reshape them and she didn’t. Then was getting frustrated and thought because she gave a “glitter nail”, which I did not ask for that it would fix things. They are nice, but it is not worth the price. After reading other reviews I realize that they just do not know how to do nails properly and it is there way of doing them which is terrible.

Critical: QualityMy first time using this salon was terrible. My nails looked really good when he finished but a few days later I started to get lifting. By day 7 my nails were all lifting and two were coming off by day 8 I was missing three nails. Tried to get a discount on my next service and they refused. Absolutely will not be going backService: Acrylic nails

I have never left a bad review, but seeing as I am a regular customer and I’m in here more then a couple times a month for whatever I am very disappointed. I had gotten my nails done less then a week ago and they were chipping, this is not the first time, they have chipped after 2 days before, but I still came here because it was close and convenient. I went in and kindly told them about it and I’m not sure of his name, but it was a bit older guy he looked at me after one of the lady’s said he would do my nails and shook his head and said no and refused to do them let alone even let me sit, I wasn’t expecting a free treatment I just wanted to let them know they had chipped after a week. They all talked for a couple of minutes while I was standing there waiting to know if I should come back another day or if they were going to fix them. It wasn’t until I was walking out that they acknowledged me and said they will fix them. I will not be coming here again.

This is my 2nd time coming to nail first. The first time my experience was ok. A couple friendly nail techs but mostly unfriendly. Today I came to get a new set of acrylics. I’m not one to cause a scene or even stand up for myself, and I’m kicking myself for that now. Today I had a male tech and he tore my hands up. When cutting my tips into a coffin shape he cut me not once but 3 times and made me bleed. I should’ve left right then and there but I bit my tongue and let him continue. He then drilled my cuticles and made me bleed some more. I wanted to go off but I don’t have it in me. Instead I sat like a puppy and paid someone $33 to make my hands look the opposite of beautiful and in pain. I will never be back and will recommend everyone not to go here.
